It sounds better than most stock exhausts (I currently ride the 1260s with Termi exhaust) but obviously not as good as an accessory exhaust would sound. I'm pleasantly surprised and rather looking forward to getting my v4 on the 24th. I'm going to stick with this standard exhaust for a year and then see what's available. You now have to sign a waiver with Ducati if you purchase their race exhaust.
I'm jealous. You have made a fantastic choice. I'll have to wait for a year, but I'll have something to look forward to. I would love to hear the Acropo system but I have not been able to find one sound clip. Anyway, your strategy (wait a year) makes a lot of sense, also given the mother@#{}|~* price the Acropo costs.
They only charge as much as they do because people actually pay it. If everyone boycotted $6k exhausts, they wouldn't charge that much.@@doordevloer9105

@@D.J.123 - What has socialism got to do with this? Lol. There is nothing wrong with 270° parallel twins and if anything offer great output at a more affordable cost. You want to complain then blame the over zealous emission standards than acting so puerile as to argue which engine configuration is "better".
