3.55 The girl / Lady that was on the National Geographic cover years ago with the beautiful eyes? l’m probably older than anyone watching this but check that story out. Back when Geo just covered the facts.
Hi ! if i challenge you on diving from a high cliff and you re scared of doing it ! I would say you re chicken ! In french i would say you re a Poule mouillee ! 🥴
You need to get a Reuben sandwhich. Smoked meat. There's a realy famous place but the one across the street is just the same and cheaper. Also, if you're there on Sunday see the medieval larpers in the park Montreal. They dress up like wizards and fight.
Yes I should have researched the smoked meat more. The bagel was disappointing. I’m sure the meat would have been a better option. Also, wizards? I’m down for that.
It is an honor to be the first viewer of the Phat-daddy's video. And, to give it a big thumbs up. Others need to discover your talent and entertainment value.
Oh! Canada 🇨🇦 Quebec was really interesting. My first time there. The people were some of the friendliest French people. Quebec was all the culture of France with the kindness of Canadians ❤
you need to try the real Smoke meat ! in grocery stores or directly at Dunn s Montreal smoke meat ! that s also the name you ll find in the grocery stores ! one of my brothers built his house at Mont Tremblant ! I ski there when i was young ! great skiing ! but when i started trucking i stopped skiing ! if i broke a leg....i wouldn t be able to work ! lol hope you re having a great time ! and yes we are french ! lol😎
Yes I would love to try the real smoke meat. Cool story about the Mont Tremblant house. I bet that is a huge beautiful mansion! Yes we had a blast. These videos are from last September. I’m just now editing them. I still have Montreal and Quebec City videos coming so please subscribe if you haven’t. Thanks very much for watching and commenting!
Just a comment, that song is from Veracruz is a style of music that has not any root or relation with Monterrey. Music from Monterrey is northern music like polka or chotis...
your video inspired me to visit . It was a beautiful place to visit . Had a day trip out of Paris but very limited time . I loved the beer and waffle . Got to go back . Next time I will fly into Brussels . Cheers !
I appreciate you watching and commenting ! Czech beer is made for taps. Belgian beer is made for bottling. Check out my Belgian series if you’re into beer
@@hugovargas7411for me it was a 9. My wife doesn’t like fatty meat as much so probably lower for her. However, I enjoy cabrito very much. Google reviews give it a 4.4 out of 5
Glad to see more tourists from the US visiting Albania I was born and raised in Tirana and it's a great feeling to see the city growing and progressing so rapidly I reside in Florida nowadays but i cannot wait to go back and visit Thank you for sharing your adventures
Should never been albania. Was always Greek. 3 times Greece recaptured northern Epirus but the Italians blocked independence in every way possible. Even the name sarande: Άγιοι Σαράντα (Ágioi Saránta, “forty saints”), which refers to the ruined Forty Saints Monastery (named after the Forty Martyrs of Sebaste) which overlooked the town.
You just went to my 3 favorite places in the world, Helleketel with Lena, bar Bernard in Watou and de vrede in Westvleteren. But for me it is only 20 minute drive 😂
Funfact: St. Sixtus Abbey, the creator and first producer of Westvleteren beers, made an agreement with St. Bernardus brewerie to produce the beer (so they transfered all the recipies from St. Sixtus to St. Bernardus). But in 1992 the Trappist Association ruled that Trappist beers can be only produced inside monasteries to be considered "trappist". So, in that year, the Westvleteren beers production returned to the St. Sixtus Abbey, and the St. Bernardus brewerie started to produce the beer "St. Bernardus 12" with a pretty similar recipie than the "Westvleteren 12" beer. So, it's said that St. Bernardus 12 is a "clone" of Westvleteren 12.
Hey has anyone gone there without a car? I will be visiting Belgium this summer and would like to go to these two places. I have a good idea of how to get to Poperinge, but from there to the breweries I am a bit lost. Are taxis an option or some kind shuttle service?
Hello and thanks for watching. I’m not sure that would be feasible without a car unless you maybe stay in poperinge and get a bike. I recommend an electric bike. I wish we would have done that.
You can also stay in Ypres where there is more transportation possibilities and tourists. An electric bike is the best. BTW in Ypres there are now a lot of café with lot (i mean a lot) of local beers, and the Kazematten brewery (proprietary of st Bernardus). Definitely eat 'stoofvlees' in St Bernardus brewery. Bonus: there is also a brewery in Oost Vleteren (east-vleteren). Have a nice stay! Flemish people are very nice people 😊
@@sledgeHammerRulez hey thank for the info, I'm gonna look into Ypres and transportation options from there. I'll also make sure to take your recommendations into account 💪🏼🍻
Wow, you had a great view! If you ever go back to Brussels, there is something better right next to the Manneken Pis. It's a place called Poechenellekelder and they have great beer 😊
Certified Belgian here. I have been to West Vleteren and had their 12. It's great but IMO not really worth all the hype. I prefer the Rochefort and the St Bernardus comes really close. Never been to the St Bernardus brewery but it looks like a cool place to visit so I might convince some friends to go.
Thanks for sharing your perspective. Yes, Rochefort and St Bernardus are also amazing beers. The Rochefort 8 is my wife’s favorite. I can get it here in the USA but it’s $7us for a 330ml bottle. Gotta pay to pay for good beer I guess. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching! I hope you can subscribe to the channel. I highly recommend the food tour we went on. Regardless, you will be happy with all the food and the people in Sicily. It’s a magical place!
Thanks David for watching and for your kind words. Yes I have been to Mexico City multiple times and I really do love it. You can see our other Mexico videos on our Mexico playlist if you like. I hope you will Subscribe to the channel. I’m trying to reach 500 !
