You like wood-working? We are mission wood and share the same passion! What is special with what we are dealing with?
First of all, we are building modern style furniture on a very high level of quality: both craftmanship and material. The target levels is pro or more. I leave it up to you, if we always meet this target.
Next, we realize the projects with only some handtools in just a corner of a double garage. No, that does not need to be a contradiction. We fill the gap with passion, inguenity and love for detail.
So this is a message for you: There is no need for you to wait with woodworking until you can afford a big workshop and many tools. You can do it right away, now. Follow me and I will show you how.

Nice work. I'm about to build some cabinets for my laundry room and picked up some great ideas/tips. Good to see someone on YT using biscuits instead of dominoes! Most DIYers cant justify the expense of a domino joiner.
Happy that you like it. If there is something, you (all) would like to see more, please let me know. In the daily routine it is hard to realize good habits, but also get rid of mishabits.
That looks nice! I've noticed that you're using the 3M hand sander. Have you had any issues with the paper staying in place with that? If so, how did you fix it?
Yes, indeed. My work around is always having two layers of sanding paper in the sander. Often a 150 and 320 grid paper. Like that, I always have the two grid stages at hand that I use the most for rough and fine sanding. But generally, I really like the 3M products, because of their good quality. But if there are other good tips out there, please share in the comments.
@missionwood oh man, that's a great idea. Now I'm wondering why I didn't think of that. It would hold on just fine with forward to back sanding, but as soon as I go to sand over a profile, the paper would begin to shift. Thank you sir
Thank you! And yes, the way shown here is pretty labour intensive. But imagine I would do the routing of the pockets with a table router, sawing the stripes with a table saw, using a clamping station, ... . . It just would be a fraction of labour. On my chanel, I show how to build top of the line furnitures only using some handtools - see ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XPkqed3tg9M.html . That is my speciality. And yes, the difference using good hand tools and a big machine park is not the achievable quality, but time and labour. So perfectly correct!
You were really fast, faster than me. The links are in, now. There are also other shops that will offer this hardware. Comparing is always good. If you find a better place, please let me know.
In fact, I bought the panels like that. Due to a discount action, their price was even cheaper than the ones without. If they would not have been in, I would have cut them with 2 passes with the circular saw.
Thanks, please keep on watching. And please share my chanel with your friends if you like it. It would help my chanel to grow and keep me motivated, that somebody out there likes what I do.
Really nice, both the way you do it and the result. My wife wanted a pair of these so now I´m searching for inspiration and yours are the best looking I found so far. Would love to have the blueprints if available. Keep up the good work.
I would have loved to have seen more info on how you perfectly locate and drill the dowels. Unless I just missed it in the video. Every time I've tried to use dowels, when I assemble the pieces, they wind up misaligned, and it's made me give up on dowels, even though I know they are useful.
Please watch this video, which should answer your question: ru-vid.com59jaJAZSFbE The marking of the hole with the pin is probably not the root cause for the problem. I would guess, that the second hole is drifting away while drilling. That can be cause by the wrong or not sharp drill bit.

Your visitor is beautiful! We love this type of chair but find that they are too difficult for an older person with bad knees to get out of. Can you suggest a way to create a higher base and legs so that it is a bit higher off the ground?

Lamentablemente son muy caros. Toma una foto a las piezas más difíciles y la amlias es fácil cuando tengas la copia la recortas a la mitad y la amplias fácil
