As I watched this I was untangling a mess of 5 sock wip’s & their yarn! I’ve been a knitter for decades & now mainly X st except while traveling- when I knit socks: 2 at a time on magic loop with afterthought heels so that I have a good 14 hours of straight knitting. Btw, Socktober is already a thing in the knitting world- no big deal and I have no idea who started it. Use it and keep the fun going! Knitting & X st are great co-hobbies!
Oh, you have given me such a great idea! I'm making multiple pillows for gifts for my nieces and nephews for Christmas this year. My father, their grandfather passed away and I have many of his flannel shirts and thanks to you I'm going to use them for the backs of their pillows! I'm so excited! I'm sure it will mean so much more to them using their Grandpa's shirts. I also have some red, white and blue shirts and love the idea of doing patriotic stitching and using them accordingly! Again, thanks so much for such a great idea!! Love your videos!!

For quilting, I am working on a 5/8" hexagon quilt, so I'm excited to participate with your 1 1/5" hexie quilt-along! I cut my hexies by hand, but very interested in the Sissix mentioned. Are you cutting your hexies larger than 1 1/5 for seam allowance? Great video, and looking forward to your next ❤️🧵🪡
I loved seeing all your patriotic things. It is a favorite of mine. This summer I am working on mostly all patriotic even after the fourth. Hoping to have a lot more finishes for next year.

Loved this floss tube! I stitched your patriotic Sue last year and just love her! I went down the Sunbonnet Sue rabbit hole because of her, so much fun! I saw a new chart on a shop's live video and so wanted to buy it , but it must not be available yet. Faded Flag by October House Fiber Arts.
So fun,Kari! I think I actually have most of those charts except for the horse ones from Plum Street. Will need to change that. The two larger samplers, Equality and and New Constellation Sampler, hang onto your seat, there are actually four of them. I think the first one was Heritage Sampler (which I have finished), followed by… I don’t know, lol. Had fun spending time with you.
This year, I'm stitching Patriotic all year long using WIPGO to pick my projects. So far, I've been pretty good at completing each stitch - but will need a whole week to FFO them all!!
