i'm in the mist of trying to create my own Ben Reilly animated show, currently trying to figure out which comics of his i'm going to animate for the show. these recs definitely helped me pinpoint some of the ones i'll do! so thank you so much!!
Magik always liked better in her black gogo outfit. If it's a cover alone those are where I would put my money, the exception being the NYCC 2022 Midnight sons, that's my favourite.
Proof is a good read. Decent art, cool story. I grabbed the first 20ish issues out of a dollar bin about a year ago. The dude that works at the comic shop recommended it. He’s the only person I’ve heard talk about it, and it seems like he’s read everything image has put out lol
Marvel has a lot of material to pull from for Halloween themed content. It's kind of surprising that they took so long to do Werewolf by Night and more surprising that they haven't leaned into more supernatural content for following Halloween releases.
I just realized the #45 b cover is an homage to Daredevil 276. Enjoy your videos. Your collecting on a budget videos have inspired me to be more focused on what my money chases.
JP, you need to read of Truth. Now, it's wordy. Be prepared for that. You're gonna need some time to read it and then reflect on it. The art, changes in the art, the story, and changes in the story when the art changes. You are good though. You have a good bit of the run already and won't be suffering month to month.
I’ve spent $200 plus on J Scott Campbell books in the last couple months($1-40/per) and I wouldn’t pay more than $5 for that Scrooge lol Dept of Truth is a great read. If your interested and haven’t checked it out the hardcover is pretty cheap on instocktrades, iirc it collects the first 17 issues
New Teen Titans Vol2 Cover #19. Perez Cover. One of my favorites for originality. Never seen a cover with that perspective view. Always stands out in my mind.
