So they only released the 800 in 2020ish when it was realesed in 2016 im in the market for a used one and was hoping it didnt have to be so new so i could save some $ and build it up 🤦😂
nice video, thankyou for sharing. Im thinking about getting a fuso like yours for a big lap but will put a jetski on the back and tow a caravan. Do you find you are limited much as to where you can go due to the size of your rig?
Watch this space as we are in the process of a new back on the truck in saying that we have done 30,000k in the truck as it is now and it is fantastic SO wouldn’t change anything else
haha 😀Yes they are around but try not to tempt them too much, we saw a few basking, check out the conway country one, that was quite scary the crocs at proserpine!!
Great adventure for sure. Curious to know what the truck GVM and GCM is. Trying to talk the wife into the same set-up, but she wants to know how much fuel it's going to use..?? Definitely less than our Y62 Patrol....😁 Cheers Daz
Hey Daz, cheers for watching We are using 18L/100 towing so pretty happy with that We have aGQ and it uses the same Mate it’s not the smoothest ride but weight is no issue GVM 4.5 and GCM 8t on the car licence Otherwise 6.5 and 10 Knowing that it is easily capable of loads is reassuring
@@austrax4x452 I just found your channel and haven't seen so many sharks, crocs, boating, atv, off roading, etc adventures in just a few of your videos, than I've seen in other Lap content channels. Well done. Now I'm curious to what you are talking about. Lol Good audio goes a long way. Excited to watch more. Thanks again for sharing 👍
I don’t have a mic or a cover lol we have our own business so no lap for us but we are lucky enough to get to work and travel regularly Thanks heaps for watching 👍🏻
Just found your channel. Looks like a great rig and some very cool adventures. The audio was very bad though. The helicopter ride looked fun. I'll be sure to check out a few more of your videos. Thanks for sharing your journey 👍
It is from dynamic engineering Custom made We are actually getting a new build on the back but this was on our ranger It is fantastic but we are hoping to be on the road more and want something that we can live inside a bit better as I will be working as we go This is so easy and comfortable though, perfect for outdoor living
@@austrax4x452 good to see good clean honest content an your not afraid to get out there having the buggy makes a real difference iv always had a quad but I think the buggy is the go ..
@@austrax4x452 Thanks for the info - I like your setup really tight and nimble for a truck-based ATV. Seeing other builds with big loads on their backs must have an impact on the economy, especially when hitting the remote hard tracks. Keep Truckn.
The north is epic and we have just returned from Lorella springs Haha sure know how to catch crabs now 🤙 Just got to get better with the Barra Cheers and thanks heaps for watching
Great under water pics 😀 Unfortunately reminded me of loosing my GoPro on the bottom of the Great Barrier Reef last summer 😢 Looks like so much fun swimming with the seals!
Thanks for sharing and the feedback, Ive been watching a lot of ATV vids from Canada, USA but yours is the first Aussie one. Well done, Hope to see more of your adventures, I have a U Force 800 great peace of gear
We did Googs Oct 2020, great track. Ford ranger with slide on and 22 psi in the tyres , walked up all dunes easily except 1 which was pretty chewed up and needed a bit of a run up. Sand flag was a good idea as the recommended direction is South to North but many come the other way like the group of 6 4wd's that nearly collected us, no flags and all thought they were in a rally car race.
Hey mate we mostly ran high 2nd, low is way too slow and a bit of momentum is great. Avg speed was around 10kmp. The track was just cut up from others spinning wheels but was a great track to drive. Our slide on is at full weight but went well. Ranger 3.2
Great video, love it. Thanks for sharing your trip. May I make a small suggestion to improve your video editing? Instead of a hard cut in the original audio when removing it or bringing it in, fade it in or out instead. A smoother transition will be better on the ears than the harsh cut. I also found your narration a little hard to understand at times as it was a bit quiet. Keep up the great work!
