My first thought when my tiny home in the desert cost me 500% more than my parent’s large split level over looking a canyon. Then I realized money had simply lost 80% of it’s value. That’s what’s happening again. Just faster because idiots won’t stop voting for corrupt dems.
Yes I have zero experience in selling a home or buying one but all I see is a job where people think they work hard because they have to deal with people and failing infrastructure and comprimises. A robot can and will take over this job sometime in the near future. A home walkthough and a algorithim will be all you need to sell a house at the best possible return and the service will cost a fraction of a realtors commission and it will dominate the entire realtor job market. lets pretend I have a house to sell. Right now no tech besides my cell phone and I googled how to sell it. This is the result tell me your 20 years experience was needed because I missed something. Set a price thats a fair market value easy to find that info anywhere and even if its off its within reason of what you would sell it for regardless easy to find, clean it and do any work thats worth doing to increase that value with the time i have available to do renovations. Kijiji craigslist, social media posts copy paste and put up photos, chat GPT a nice paragrapgh about how great the area is and whats closeby. Create a few listings if needed after that buy why spend the money on the fees. Have an open house meet some people, tell all the realtors saying we can sell it for you to f off when they show up. negotiate with them. This doesnt require finesse as much as you think it does. If they are asking under asking then I would kindly remind them that the houseing market is a fast paced world and they need a place to live over my need for money or its an LLC and they will just accept whatever offer to outbid anyone else. draft a contract get it notorized, transfer keys and utiliies resposibilitys.
