@mixmediaproductions yea,it sucks that most tarps are blue.luckily I'm so far back in the woods that no one can see me.I went camping Friday night and found a new spot that's going to change everything.🫠
Dude you need to utilize them bricks. I spent many a night at the camp with three or four fire heated bricks in the bed, cooked on a quickie build brick rocket stove.
This looks like a great spot too, I feel ya on being stuck under a tarp. I had a surprise lil rain that kept me in my tent because I didn't bring a tarp, it was just for maybe a couple of hours, but it got old quick! good thing you got to dry out your gear!! the pizza was a killer idea! I'm going to bring one with me next time😁 Man, sucks about the shoulder. I hope they get that fixed for ya, gets exhausting not getting sleep and being in constant pain. Loved the campfire train horn asmr! that was just too cool!
@@TerraExplorations yea,it was an ok spot,it just sucked that it was on an incline.Im going back to this little spot I found while looking for wood tomorrow night.its flat,and it's a little more low key.but I did like ordering a pizza,just didn't feel like walking to get it after getting wood and setting up for the night.its cool how the deer have gotten used to me though,so I'm glad I took a little walk.
@@juggalo4life247 I left a comment mentioning that I was with ya on not being too hip about all the "New age" beliefs, and how I felt that camping was my way of getting away from bs as well. and I said your "new" neighbors should have a lil more consideration for you. guess the new age world found it and deleted it.
@METATRONANGEL777 because I enjoy nature.Ill get to look back at this summer and say it was the best that I've had in a long,long time.its so peaceful,and the bugs and weeds aren't bad at all.
I really am liking this spot the best! the higher ground and the view work, no trash looks like nobody has been there in a while... I'd claim it. I was following a few people too, life happens and then ya don't see much of anybody anymore. I made mine just so I have something to watch to get me through the depressing winters we have here, I hardly got any views of me just the trains that went by so I stuck with it. One viewer didn't want me narrating. I think you're off to a good start, much respect on you bein out there so often for an OG. when some folks can't get out these kinda videos are gold, so no worries about chattin too much.

Good stuff, nice adventure! But I do have to question your decision to set-off firecrackers on a stealth camp, lol! Just kidding... obviously you know what you can get away with. Air mattresses, yikes. I gave up on them quite a while ago.... always putting holes in them! Great video, a very enjoyable watch! 😀👍
@@fleotusbing lol,yea you're right about that.the spot I go to is pretty secluded,and there really isn't any trails to get to me.plus,it was around the 4th of July,so I wasn't to worried about it.the only fireworks I use now are sparklers to light the fire!👍
@@fleotusbing once all the weeds die off,I'm going to move further back into the park.I tried using a machete to hack my way through some of the bs,but the weeds and trees are to dense.and the frickin bryers are horrendous!
Hey man sorry to hear about your 50th going like that. I know how that feels to be chumped by people... sucks when it's family in your situation. I never really had any birthdays with "friends", it's usually me sitting by myself at home with a twelve pack. My 50th was the only party I actually had with "friends", and it was pretty cool. Eight years later I'm back by myself again. Keep that spot man, leave no new traces and maybe stash some gear out there away from the camp... stuff ya use all the time like cooking gear, tarp, couple cans of food? jus build a snow fort with four walls and your tarp over it instead of puttin in time on an igloo? I have the same thing here, the neighbors always have their blinds barely cracked so you always feel like people are eye ballin ya. sketchy when bodies turn up like at your place. where I go is sketch too, I'm out there alone and miles away from anything. @TerraExplorations I've never had a special bday,so the let down wasn't so bad.My family being the way that it is makes it hard to explain the distance that feel at times.and we don't live far from each other.they love you when you're doing good,but turn their back on you if you're having problems in life.hell,when I was homeless for 2 yrs,I never heard once anyone in my family call to see how I was doing.the few friends that I have are more family to me than any blood fam that I have! I actually started stashing a few camping supplies about a month ago.it made things so much easier for me to go back and forth with everything I need.I saw a wooded area that's huge on the way home yesterday,but I've never scoped the area out. with where I go now,I know I'm the only person there.it would be next to impossible for someone to sneak up on me at night.that comfort zone feeling that I get would be gone if I'm constantly looking over my shoulder.I did try to hack my way back further,but everything is so overgrown.weeds are about 8ft tall and are super thick.I think I'm lucky that I even found these 2 spots where I camp.and I was kidding about the igloo.I'll probably get a small tent to put under my shelter,or another tarp to make 4 walls.
Cool video bro! I'd keep that lil place a secret and make it yours. You got good ethic and that's part of the reason I subscribed, it's hard to find a nice place anywhere that doesn't get trashed by Flatlanders. every time I come back to a place, I'm holding my breath hoping it hasn't been destroyed... or I have to put out a campfire someone left. I always bring extra contractor bags to pick up people's trash so I can set up my camp... not so often but it happens. As far as turnin 50? I jus turned 58 and I got the same idea... Get it while ya still can and while the gettin is good!🤘🏼
@TerraExplorations yea,I figure it's only a matter of time before someone finds my little slice of heaven.Ive been careful and haven't left a trail to my little spot.its just a shame how much trash is back there.I think at somepoint it was a dump,but atleast mother nature is reclaiming what's hers.I do plan to find a new spot the next time I head out just to change things up a little.once the seasons change and the leaves fall,I won't be as hidden.so I'm thinking it's a good idea to fly under the radar as much as I can...

@@TerraExplorations I really appreciate the feedback.there's people on RU-vid that do a better job than me at the whole stealth camping genre,but I'm trying to make videos more interesting.I know come fall and winter,I'll have to find a new spot that's further back in the woods I camp in.there won't be that much cover once the leaves fall.the last time I tried to follow a crick to go all the way back to the edge of the park,I ran into a shelter.Im thinking it was some kids fort,but I turned around as soon as I saw it.I know at night,I'm the only one making noise.I would hear the people if someone was living in that shelter I found.

The deer is so cute.I tried to call him in closer.he actually got about 8ft away,and we just looked at each other.and that was the first night he didn't torment me.it is his backyard so I have to respect that!! 🦌
