As relentless Ryu was as a youngster, Gouken would've frowned to this. His blind anger is what got him to losing against Guile. Guile was also lucky Ryu didn't tap into the Murderous Intent at the time.
Guile vs planet Fitness.😀😀😀😀😅😅😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 because Guile come from old school gym while Ryu comes from modern Fitness gym which doesn't require old school muscles
young and cocky will lose to older and experienced most of the time lol. guile only used enough force to show who was better. learn to respect your elders or get your ass kicked lol.
This series is Lowkey am underrated gem. I saw it for the first time last year and it's so good. If you haven't seen it and love street fighter, you owe it to yourself to give it a shot
while ryu was highly trained, he lacked experience. so much so that guile saw it and tried to not really hurt him, telling him to stay down or go home. later on, ryu fights a illusion of guile and thanked him for opening his eyes and showing him a wider world.
A great, but underrated series. I agree with what you said in the description and plus, someone's age, size, gender, and physique in fights doesn't always matter. Big, small, medium, 17, 18, or 19 and older, who cares? What matters is that you hold your own well against your adversaries before you either win or lose. Ryu has done a great job at fighting Guile because he's agile, speedy, and tougher than he looked, despite him landing a small number of blows on Guile. Ryu was very determined to not give up no matter what and that's I like about him, having the courage, confidence, and determination to do the right thing and not let your friends and family down. I'm on Ryu's and Ken's sides because those military assholes have started the trouble before Guile showed up and Ryu and Ken had to finish it. It is a shame that Ryu did take a lot of blows and lost. Guile and his friends were the jerks and assholes in this one as well and I don't blame Ken for being pissed off about Ryu getting hurt.
I'm not on their side on this one. Yes, they were obnoxious and noisy, but they never directly started anything. It was Ken who went out of his way to get into the bar they were at, and THEN antagonized them into a fight. They were both arrogant and highly amused at having beaten these guys easily. Then Guile shows up, to see his men busted up while two smirking youngsters looking at him. Even then, Guile doesn't attack, only asking if they did this. Whereupon Ken and Ryu joke about Guile being the 'main course on tonight's menu'. Then Ryu makes the first move, starting the fight. Even then, Guile asks Ryu to just stop three times, being willing to let it go at that if the kid stood down. It was only when Ryu slammed Guile against the bar that Guile finally lost his temper and stopped holding back. I'm on Guile's side.
@@Ares99999 Okay then. I understand. Edit: But I'm afraid that my previous comment has already been made and I meant every word that I said. At least the three do eventually warm up and they're on better terms now.
This anime was the reason why I join Judo 🥋 and Aikido martial arts and my church of God because I wanted know the self ryu fight style and lifestyle and find God through meditation and prayer the myth the secret to life and death and salvation love this anime bro!
Who changed Ken hair to blond and his eyes to blue and they give Ken ryu's fire hadouken punch when it was really RYUs move he did it first on Sagat in the original Japanese comic book it's called Battle Scars if you ask me I think RYU did a damn good job fighting guile for the first time ryu was just 17 years old and guile was a full grown men and RYU broke 3 of guiles ribs on that bar counter that's when Guile got really pissed off I got all six of the DVDs of Street Fighter 2 1996 . Holler at your boy AKA cucumber slice
You know it's really sad about this fight? Now, for one, in my opinion, Ryu had no business attacking Guile in the first place! Then, when Guile tried to warn him not to continue fighting, he does the exact opposite, and ends up getting his ass beat! 😳 On the other hand, I do give props to Ryu, for at least trying to put up a good fight. Now, if this was in real life, both Ryu & Guile, would have had to pay for the damages that they caused. And secondly, I'm pretty sure if Ryu was from the streets, he would've went home, got his gun, hunted Guile down, and shot him, over losing a fight! It's sad that we live in the world, where two grown people, can't seem to settle their differences, like real men! People want to grab guns and shoot people nowadays! Whatever happened to fighting, then shaking hands? If you could do that, then you show your opponent, and everyone else including yourself, you're a real man!💯😁
Obviously a couple of teenage punks like Ryu and Ken weren't gonna be any match for a seasoned combat veteran like Guile, no matter how good at martial arts they were, or thought they were.
This anime was pretty cool, but I always wondered what exact age were ken and ryu. Ryu wouldn't have much a problem with guile normally. But to be honest, kind of nice to see guile show how tough he is
