Do not work for others for free. Ever. You can build a portfolio and then charge modestly. But with free work you under cut people who need to pay bills and devaluate the skill.
This approach will basically never work again in Framer Motion as animations are now not resolved/started until the following animation frame. This is great for performance as all reads and writes are batches but bad for things where state is set every frame (which is bad for performance in its own right anyway). You need to use useSpring instead.
For anyone that has a different length of cards, and the parallax animation looks weird, try this calculation for range and targetScale const range = [i * (1 / (cards.length - 1)), 1] const targetScale = 1 - (cards.length - 1 - i) * 0.05
Please also create a tab on your website that explains how to use your codes in elementor. I'm trying to convert with chatgpt but it doesn't work most of the time...
1. Great video w/ good points; pretty inspiring actually 2. Minor squabble about AI "developing" itself. Def not the case. Critical human involvement still. Perhaps in a Skynet future 3. Good call-out on creative devs being a blend of right/left-brain thinking and preferences. I think we tend to be more fluid than more heavily leaning left- or right-brain folks. 4. The Newton quote about 3rd law of motion is way out of context, but I take your meaning and agree with what you're trying to communicate. Again, good stuff. +1 sub 😁
How would you approach this if you wanted the entry animation to animate in before the old content exits? For example, have the new content swipe up over the old content and then handle the removal of the old content?
First off, Iove your videos. Second, as someone who was making flash animations for the web bas in 2005 I winced a little bit when you said web animation is quite new :) Keep making content
I can't express enough how amazing your content is, brother. I truly appreciate the demos and tutorials you've shared. As a junior frontend developer with a passion for animations and smooth transitions, your channel has been the most insightful and valuable resource I've come across. Thank you so much, brother!
Hello Olivier, you have use parallax effect on images in the background, it can be seen in the live link but it is not seen in the video or code in git repo
