I recognised many of those trails.... with affection. Spent many a good day around the Hampshire byways. Butts Hill is always a favourite. 👍 Hoping to rekindle the love this year... dust the old bike off and see what's out there. 🙂 best wishes... Steve.

Hi Ian, loving your vids! Quick question. Your gloves you’re wearing in this vid. Are they the “100% Brisker” gloves? I’m only asking as I bought a pair this morning and was wondering how they performed in the cold? Cheers 🏍👍🏻
Hi Paul, Yes, 100% Brisker Gloves which I have worn all winter. They perform better than any of my other KLIM gloves in the cold. I know a number of other riders who have them and all agree they are great in the cold. Can get a bit hot with the heated grips on the GS, but I also use for my KTM exc and I wouldn't wear anything else now for winter riding. They offer great grip in the wet. It was -5 when I rode back from Snowdonia!
Ian Davies thanks for getting back to me. That’s good to know! They only cost me £20, so if I get on with them, I can see myself buying another pair or two. I’m also a GS owner & getting my first taste of off-road riding in a couple of weeks, down on the Salisbury Plains. Anakee Wilds being fitted this week n praying that the rain will end soon 🙏🏻 lol 🏍👍🏻
You’re a lucky boy Ian! I look forward to seeing footage in the future. Maybe I’ll see you around, I’m only in Essex, so not far from you. Ride safe! 🏍👍🏻
Ian Davies Hi great video - just wondering if you can recommend a good source for trails In the Pyrenees. I'm looking to get to Picos an Pyrenees in the next few wks, so I'm just route planning as I write.. Thanks
Leon spent a considerable amount of time creating tracks in gpx format from the road book in Basecamp and both Leon and I had garmin gps. Mine was a montana610 with Spain topo, used nav 5 for the rest. I also recorded our actual route as we did need the odd diversion.
Ian Davies good stuff. I've done exactly the same so I know his pain. Good to know you were able to navigate without the roadbook, I was concerned I'd be making too many wrong turns just using the GPS coordinates. Thanks again and good effort for doing it on GSs.
Nice trail video. From two minutes onwards where about's are those trails? the first two minutes I know of, but the remainder are a mystery to me an look like a good run, private message me if you prefer not to disclose location to the public, Thanks
