Aw, thank you, Donna. We loved New England. All my ancestors are from the South except for a line that comes out of Connecticut. I enjoy her knitted and crocheted items in the winter! Kindness is important. Yes, I need to do the friends prompt and I'll be caught up.

What keeps coming to mind is: break apart an angel food cake into bite-size pieces, layer it with strawberries (fresh or frozen), and layer it with whipped cream or cool whip.

@@helencantimagine I had someone contact me through Ancestry and she sent me pictures of my step fathers sons who I never met. Saw pictures of them growing up but that was 50 years ago. So interesting to see and out of the blue!
@@DonnaDesigns Donna, start with yourself. Ask questions about your parents. Ask where and when they were born and married. Get their full names. Do the same for their siblings and parents. Ask all these questions about your grandparents. If your grandparents are still living, ask about their parents and grandparents. Once you have dates and places, you can start researching. I use Ancestry.com. There are other places you'd be able to use. Collect documents. Record your relatives and the stories they can share. You'll be well on your way to knowing about your family.

Hey Donna, She went through the surgery just fine. When she got home, she went to the doctor and ended up with a terminal diagnosis, and was gone for 2 weeks. So sad. Just went to her funeral over the weekend.
Love potato salad with green Olives My best friend her grandmother would make potato salad with green olives And to me it's the best potato salad we live in Tennessee so I was wondering if that might be a Tennessee thing or old southern recipe
