It looked like in the beginning of this video that someone can bring their own container and they will put the food in there. Is this so, and can a person do this with drinks too?
@@Mao-od8gp That is good to hear, as I hope to do this when come over. I encourage you to push this idea as well, so to encourage less plastic being thrown out. Hopefully, this will help beautify your country.
Isn't $4 USD for a bowl of noodles expensive in Cambodia? That's not something the average Cambodian can afford, is it? Also, the restaurant where you had the fried baby bird (I think this type of bird is called a Swallow. They're small in size even when they mature), is that a Lao restaurant? Because I have seen this type of bird fried and eaten whole on Food Travel Channel before about Laos.
Hello, for a bowl of noodles I requested him to put extra meat that’s why it costs more extra. The restaurant is Cambodian, we have been eating that fried little bird for years and we called it Chab Chean in Cambodian language . Thank you 🙏 for visiting!!
@@Mao-od8gp I will have to ask my family about chab chean. We eat quail, but I’ve never seen Khmer people here in the USA eat chab chean. So many changes to the food in Cambodia. I asked people in their mid 80s if Cambodians used to eat crocodile meat and was told no. I think some food was never eaten by Cambodians living in the central plains until the last 2-3 decades when it was introduced by other ethnic groups who moved from the forest, mountains and deep rural to the center of town.
Hi Mao 👋 you’ve been eating the sticks meat for 10 years, that means that dish have been around for a long time, but it’s only trending in Australia now, we are so slow 😅😅 also they are great business here always soo busy, mostly the teenagers they eat and it’s very expensive, around $1-$9 AUD per stick 😢 but people still eat .. have a great day, take care 🙏
@@Mao-od8gp I appreciate your reply Mao. I invite you to see your translation on screen at 11:04. I believed you knew it, Khos rodov meant wrong season ( or wrong time). Thank you.
Siem Reap has some of the best Nom Bachuk I ever ate in my life. I only ate 5 bowls that day because they ran out of vegetables . I might be eating those waffles all day if I was there right now. 😋👍👍👍
Hello, The bridge is for people who’s living in Kos Pen ( Pen island) and for visitors too. The bridge was made from bamboo they build it every year when the water low but when the water goes up they remove it. Thank you 🙏 for visiting .

I haven't see this area of Kien Svay before. I could eat 20 of those waffles & a plate of meatballs 😛😊 You must love your coffee. I see you ordering coffee in most of your video.
10:00 she thinks you’re Chinese? I remember in another video someone thought you were Chinese, too. Are you wearing shirts with Chinese flag on it or something, why do people keep mistaking you for Chinese? I can tell by your Khmer you are a native speaker. I had to come back and edit because now at 16:15 people think you’re Japanese. Can’t Cambodian people tell you are Khmer based on your mannerism? So many expats now living in Cambodia that it’s confusing people.
I love those Waffles & Nom Bach Chok Sanlor Khmer , 😛❤ If I can , I would send you the money to get them for me , But I live too far away. Always Great Video , Mao 👍
