Between my dad and I we’ve had at least 5 of these things. Excellent performance for what we use them for, moose hunting in muskeg country. If you have a chain drive model like mine, be prepared to do a lot of maintenance to keep it reliable. The 800 shaft drive was a step in the right direction but people don’t like the massive fuel consumption. Now my dad has a 2019 570 EPS model and it is absolutely the cats meow.
Instead of grinding away at the starter, WHY the hell didn't you go through the ignition system and clean it up, replace the plugs, and take the carb apart and clean it before even attempting to start it???
Love your vids, I would like to inform folks who are thinking of buying a outlander to watch out for rusted frames. I just purchase a brand new 6 x 6 1000 Outlander XT Max 2020. The bike is 3 days old with 0.7 km on it. In fact I have not even driven the machine, just unloaded it. Got it into the shop and was installing the skid plate and notice that the inside the frame was rusted with the paint scaling off inside the square tubing. Not very good quality control I say. I took a video and posted here on the youtube for anyone who wants to have a view. I use my inspection cam and the rust is the whole way up on both sides of the fame....here is the link to the rusted frame... If Polaris would put the 800 or 1000 twin this this machine I would consider it but will stay with Can Am for many reasons first being the larger Rotax engine. I could make a like of equipment that make the Cam Am better.............
Does this stuff stay that same tacky red color, or does it turn black after it heats up? I'm trying to seal a leak in an old classic motorcycle's pipes... if it turns black I can cope. If it stays this hideous red, though, I will pass. :-\
Looked like something wrong with your front diff probly needs some new good fluid it wasn't locking like it was supposed to. In they clip where you winched out only one front tire was spinning .
I don't have the Home Depot hardware department in my garage. What size bolts are they? Most people know you can put a bolt in, but what size?? So annoying when youtubers make videos and don't provide specifics.
Lol, you forgot to take the red side of the tape off. The stuff that actually seals the leak is sandwiched between the red strips there. I forgot to take the outer red strip when I used it and now it smells like rubber is burning when I drive more than 5 km from a cold start.
to the people who say people didn't have chainsaws in the 1600's........ well no shit, a way to duplicate this is to dig a small hole in the ground and put the log of choice in the hole about halfway up.. now take an axe and split it into quarters like he did.. the hole will prevent the log from splitting all the way, build up your kindling and bam, problem solved
opels are cool cars, just never caught on over here in the US. if you are going to keep it a 4cylinder, may I suggest either a hopped up Opel 2.0L (from the Kadett) or a hopped up Chevy 2.5L "Iron Duke"? either would be way cool in that car.
Dude you dont really know theese cars do you ? changing the engine isnt a thing 2 do with these old Opels. Btw its not a 4 cylinder.... its a 2,5 Liter Straght Six.
