James is absolutely the fastest guy to ever throw a leg over a dirt bike! Hes one of the best to EVER do it for sure! But let's not forget, RC4 is the one and only true GOAT in all of sports!

For whatever reason Supercross and Motocross does not get the coverage of other sports. I love it and have for 55 years. I rode for all those years and even raced. TOP riders are the best in the WORLD. That being said, people have ZERO clue at the demand dirt bike racing actually is. Riders just make it look easy and trust me it is BRUTAL on your physical standing. To say he is one of the best ATHLETES ever isn't even a question. Until you actually ride you have NO clue.
Wow ,what a Champ ,i used to watch him race he was fast and furious i cant believe the racist remarks and treatment he endured ,it sucks big time ,and still he stayed humble ,love you James you a true Champ bubba.
Cmon, I grew up in that area and I bever raced at an all-White MX track. I raced all these tracks in the south. keep race out of this. Bubba didn't race as a Black kid. If you're talking about jealousy, then there are many who were. I am sad to see race was even brought up in this article. Don't take away from his ability by using race, unless it involves a race. He was well on his way at 8 yrs old with TP and RC and others. I raced with black riders in the 70's 80's and beyond and never heard negative slurs against black riders.
Seeing RC say James was the fastest.... "He could have won more races if he would have backed off.... But he doesn't care" Coming from the GOAT! I remember when James was asked if he was mad about the repetitive takeouts from rival Chad Reed. He answered " If I would have rode better he wouldnt have had the opportunity" I bet this mentality was instilled in him by James Sr. from an early age. If he won it was because of him, if he did'nt win it was because of him. Others do not control you, others cannot prevent you. Great fathers have a huge impact on their children becoming great.
My friends would kind of chuckle when I told them that I was following this young black MX Racer and he looks like the best I ever saw. My black friends even laughed harder than my white friends. Thanks Bubba for giving me the last laugh!!
Saw him in St Louis I believe in 2013..my jaw dropped at speed he carried around the track. Watching on TV they look fast, but until you see it live...it's like damn.
James earned it, James ruled it, James won it ! James is a true legend and even though Carmichael has the most wins, my favorite is James due to the fact of his background and that he always went 110% all in !
2014 Toronto supercross.. in my opinion the best ride of his and the best ride I have ever seen.. and I had the pleasure of watch Jeremy McGrath's whole career and everyone after McGrath.
