Excellent job ma'am. A friend called for help setting up her tube feeding bc the feeding kept on stopping on it own. And I just sent her this video & in 2minutes she did find out what the issue was & she called back to tell me was "stupid" she felt😂. Good job
I’m so glad I watched this video! I just started in the CVICU and you really broke down this information in a way that was easier to understand. Thank you so much!! You’re a great resource!
I'm an international nurse and never encountered this type of external cath for female patients and I've only heard this from us nurses on social media therefore i got really curious how it looks like and how to use it. So i search it on RU-vid. And thankfully there are tons of tutorials and your video is one of the best because you didn't only demonstrate it but you also discussed the indication and contraindications and other things.... thank you.
At ~$7 each three catheters per day would cost over $600/month. Can they be sanitized and reused? Or repacked with foam or gauze? I know the maker recommends against this but I wonder if it's practical.
Hello. I know this video is 3 or so years old. My mom was just released from the hospital on 11/8/23. She used this in the hospital unfortunately insurance companies don't cover it (hospital Dr. And her family Dr. tried) they said it was still fairly new. We paid for the kit closed to 700. Not including External Catheters. We paid 200. for a case of 30. I'm so glad I came across this video. It helped us so much...
I just started doing in home care and the company did not train me at all. So i came to a client's house for the first time this morning and she uses this product because she is bed ridden. I had never heard or an external catheter let alone know how to change one. I instantly came to youtube and this is the first video that popped up (thankfully because it is very thorough). As a new care giver i find each client has unique needs and i am grateful that this video exists. I believe i can do this confidently even for my first time.
Your equipment is superbly attractive, I'm amazed by quality products shown in RU-vid, buyable. How about multi-use products like a technology product with several capabilities. Buyers of quality products and buyers with tight budget will drool on that.
