A melody such as the lonesome boatman brings mystical imagry to the minds eye highlighted by the poem silent annie , something that has brought a memory or a longing of home to many an irish man or woman overseas for a long time and to turn it into something a trival as a sectarian marching anthem is not only discusting but down right wrong , comendations on some of your other pieces regarding rebel anthems but this piece of music has no place in a marching anthem and should remain a beautiful mystical piece of music that conjures images of old sailors on the high seas , adventure and memories of far away places and definitely not conjure images of bonfires and bombs and hatred .... 🤦♂️
The best republican flute band on the road and have been for many many years now great lads aswell in the band sean mcmahon a great lad who does a lot in the background for the band which goes unoticed though i seen him he was doing his best always looking for avenues to get the band to stay number one rfband i think sean should be credit to this and the band as a whole TAL32
