I never took Booth's response to Brennan's confession In the Doctor in the Photo as an actual rejection. She simply needed to say aloud what she was feeling, she had absolutely no expectations. He only said that the circumstances are not allowing them to be together and that particular "circumstance" is Hannah. He tried to hold on to his relationship with Hannah because he was trying to do the right thing. Booth is a man of his word, he all about doing the right thing even if its not right for himself. He's the most selfless man but sometimes his selflessness clouds his judgement. He knew that in his heart he wants to be with Brennan but he didn't have the heart to hurt Hannah's feelings. That's why he so hastily proposed to her. His anger afterwards had nothing to do with Brennan, it was a long overdue due to his general experiences with women. He gave Brennan an opportunity to walk away from him because he feels so guilty for proposing to Hannah instead of breaking up with her sooner. He wishes he would've had the courage to do it. In a way he feels guilty for putting Brennan through all of that. Brennan broke down because she regrets that she didn't realize her feelings sooner. I just love how after that, before his break up with Hannah, Booth was there for Brennan as an emotional support. This speaks so much about their deep friendship. Even after such an emotionally painful ordeal, they can still support one another through it as best friends without letting the incident effect negatively in their relationship ❤
it hurt so much when Brenan told Booth that she love him and regretted not giving them a chance 💔, can't blame Booth at his reaction... Just a relief that Hannah and him broke up in ep13, its hard watching S6 ep1-13 ... felt bad for Dr. B..... #Bones
It would be great if jack end up with Elizabeth great great great great great great great great great great great granddaughter who resemble Elizabeth just like they did with one big happy weasley family if jack become immortal?
Out of all the TV couples, Booth is probably one of the most devoted partners (romantic/professional) out there and constantly looks at Brennan like she walks on water. She is devoted too but her rationality makes her more practical and she doesn’t hero worship Booth like he does to her. It’s such an interesting dynamic!
