@@tadaaaa952 I'm using a zoom mod that you can download that allows extra zoom levels. It can not be used online for playing though, just offline and for replays. 👍👍
Ah Bertjense... always plays on ore regrows 6. And farms the ore... bunkers up lets everyone else fight, then hopes the ore runs out for everyone else.
Not Kenny bang bang. Cant be... Amatrox has now started changing names daily btw.. He's still playing. currently cloning sigma35mm name. Previously was ORICO (space of 48 hours) But I saved the replay where he admitted it was him and used his classic insult so just check the replay and kill him if he joins.
Damn, It was until your explanation that I thought it was just a singular screen. Artifacts are sometimes visible later on, but honestly negligible. Also, really good choice for the viewer for uploading 4k, the bit rate helps a lot, even if someone doesn't have a 4k screen. (I'm on a 2k screen, I could still see most health bars all the time)
I use the zoom mod for watching replays and it can show the whole map on smaller maps but the larger ones (like this one) it can't, I wish it could it would save me a hell of a lot of time! 🤣🤣 So I have to record it twice to capture the top and then the bottom. However, a lot of the times the game will stutter upon playback of the replay so I have to start again. For this edit I had to record the top half 3 times before getting a good recording and the bottom half 2 times! This was a short game so not much of a problem but longer games will be a nightmare to record which is why I won't be doing a hell of a lot of them! 👍👍😂😂 p.s. I always record and upload in 4k, I don't know why others do not do similar. Maybe their monitors do not support 4k I don't know but I prefer watching in 4k so wish they would instead of 1080.
Really liked this view for a big many player game like this. It really gives you a good impression of everything what is going on. Would be nice to have this view as an option when watching a replay. I am curious if this video will get more watch minutes, because maybe people will rewind and watch again and focus on a different part of the match.
Funnily enough I had the idea to do the normal in-game view but have the whole map displayed also so that not only can you watch how I play but also see the entire game progress too. It's extremely tricky to edit and get the timing right but on some games I may do this but not feasible to do on all games as it's so time consuming.
Don't worry it was only because the in-game view wasn't worth posting as a stand alone. I'll only be doing observer replays when this happens, 99% of the time they'll be regular in-game videos. 👍👍
@@t0mhd572 I'm beginning to like it myself. I also tweaked it so all the Ore are Gems! haha that will be fun to play! Now I know the original is quite Gem heavy I can tweak my playing style to suit it better.
@@CraigNiel Lol I used to play this loads back in the 90's and have also watched every vid of Zack's playing this remastered version and yet that is the first time I've ever noticed a vortex!! 🤯
@@Sue_Smabeet Probably because no one ever gets the chance to use a Chronosphere on regular maps. It's the same tactic, Allies, Light Tanks, game over... But yes, you only get a vortex when using Chonosphere and it kills anything the instant it touches it!
Yeah it's just a Royal pain in the arse to edit because the videos are slightly different speeds! It's impossible on the Mega Map games due to the severe difference in play speed but I guess it's not so much an issue on those maps but is nice on the regular maps to see what the other players are doing, gives a better perspective of the game I think. Glad you like it. 👍👍
I've done it a few times but never needed it. It is a good little trick to hide a Silo away up on the cliffs in a corner on these kind of maps because if it comes down to a base race you have a good chance of winning, as demonstrated here! 👍👍
@@banzooiebooie Yeah I had no idea what was happening I just focussed on destroying him as quick as I could and I've seen other games online like this and always wondered what was happening. So, considering how I hate not knowing myself it's a no brainer to download the replay and add a little window showing it. It takes a bit more time editing to get it all lined up etc but I think it's worth it and makes for a much more interesting viewing experience! 👍👍 Glad you enjoyed it.
I played a game with professor recently on this map. We had 5people and he suggested 2v3 so we did. I was on his team and he destroyed them! I helped? 😂😅
Maybe a bit of micro on gems and some pillboxes? But if they all go for you at once and from a position you can be flanked over multiple fronts, not much to do.
so much nostalgia i still got my double disk red alert for ps1, i bought this remaster but i couldnt get into it again. i enjoy watching someone who is good though lol
Voice-over is always preferred imo purely because if I have to read text on the screen, I can't follow what's actually happening in the video so easily!
i mean i can kind of agree with him. it's like...what can you do against light tank rushes? there's no unit to prevent the enemy from firing or attacking, so it's like once that mass rushes in you're just fucked.
Oh no doubt and it's one of the reasons why these regular maps are just boring because people just build Light Tanks and steam in and it's game over. But he said, "wow have to rush to win" so I proved him wrong in the next game. 👍👍
4:45 I 100% agree. I really do like to see everything what's going on, not only the (small) viewport of the player. Especially in 2v2+ where you could be ambushed at most times.
I also torture booots... I rush him with light tanks he dies in 3 minutes. He used to start with moderate units till he played me 6 times under 6 diff accounts and I engineer rushed him in the free APC all 6 games.
😂😂 I'd love to have seen that, it would have made a great little series that. You should start posting some game because if nothing else you can look back on them much later when you've forgotten about them! 👍👍
I think so too. I tried the newer games and they were horrible and the only way I can explain is it that with Red Alert you feel connected and with the silly new 3d ones you feel disconnected. It was the same with Unreal Tournament (99) you were so connected to the game it was the best FPS ever. The later ones with the fancy graphics were just horrible and you felt completely disconnected. 👍👍
p.s. If you don't know what UT99 is I did a little video a while back with a game against bots. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cPM7IxIWetc.html It's simply the best FPS ever made in my opinion and I'd give anything to back 25 years and play this as the height of all the servers again.
It definitely was here, if Blue had helped them it would have been a much tougher game and who knows how it would have panned out. Blue killed two units, that's it! 😂😂
