Good luck with your wee channel here. Few words of advice from someone a few steps further down the line (but not far), you've several competing subjects in your description and the title which is unlikely to give a clear indicator to the algorithm what the video is about - which topic its being recommended under. I used to think "the more the merrier" regarding subjects and search terms (grab them all!) but it seems that just means the algorithm doesn't know where to recommemd it so less is more, choose one topic that will reach the right kind of viewer to put central in the title, description and tags, leave out the tangents and secondary subjects there, though they can be in the video. Above all, try to make sure that those terms and the thumbnail give a close approximation of the main body of the video itself so those whose interest is peaked get what they think they'll get when they click, otherwise they'll click away after a few seconds (this could get recommended beside organic food content but viewers there would then find it seems to be about a cairn so they'll click away) and it'll flump from the viewing nose-diving after the first few seconds - it's actually better to put off those who may be looking for e.g. a full-on history documentary so they don't click on your video, click away and ruin your stats. If you keep that main central subject or theme recurring in subsequent videos, after a few videos, the algorithm will, with a bit of luck, rate your channel for that topic and start recommending your videos as it will then class you as an 'authority' on that subject - you don't actually have to be an authority, but the fact that you keep making vids about the same thing is read by the algorithm in that way, as long as they get reasonable engagement. As far as I am aware (and all these things are changing constantly but) the title is the number one search term, that is the first thing the algorithm reads and its primary way of defining the video's content, so make that relevent with a part that repeats to get you that 'authority' niche connecting your vids. Secondly the description, build a paragraph that reiterates and underlines the main theme of the title to focus in on that topic for the algorithm with terms that are associated with that. Lastly but by no meams least, the algorithm actually reads your speech in the video, apparently (alongside creating auto subtitles, at a guess) so it matters that that again aligns with the title or description - I've found vids without dialogue for example flop, I'm guessing it's because the algorithm cannot read the content and so decides it's spam and not what the title says it is. Keep on keeping on dude, just thought to share those things as can see you've put some effort in and that SEO crap is pretty counter intuitive so, aye, well, there you go... Easier said than done, I really struggle with the specialisation aspect myself as it's just not me at all, but, you cannee argue your case with a flipping computer program so, have to find a way to satisfy the algorithm's demands whilst not sacrificing too much character. Using text on the thumbnail as you've been doing is a great way of inserting a secondary title 'just for humans' - you can get the truth of the content across there without having to worry about confusing the search terms.]
