For a kayak that is marketed as very capable in surf and rough water, why did they make such plyable, soft thigh brace mounts? That's an area you'd want stiff to respond to your movements and bracing.
Just looked at some Norse Kayaks. They had several of them at our local outfitters/kayak store. They looked fantastic! Very comfortable and of excellent quality. Unfortunately, every single one had gel coat cracks at the ends of the skeg box. After doing some research, I found that this is an issue with these boats. According to Norse Kayaks, it has to do with the way they package the boats for shipping. Seems fishy to me. I was super disappointed…really wanted to get this boat. Now it’ll likely be a Zegul Reval.
I'm pretty sure this employee phucked up. This isn't the Bourbon this is still the Mercury. The Bourbon is a non-modular traditional touring kayak. The only modular touring kayak that they have is the Mercury. Or am I missing something here?
@@PaddlerGuideTV Well that makes it even more perplexing. There is no modular successor to the Mercury called Bourbon. They have a kayak called Bourbon but it has nothing to do with the Mercury and is not modular. One look on their website and one has to assume that the guy messed up. And if it's the founder then that's a big yikes.
@@rockdoveoutdoor Where did you find that information? Because this kayak looks exactly like the Mercury and it's still the only modular touring kayak they have on their website.
Hi, I wanted to ask for information. What is the difference between the two 0.75 m2 sails and the 1.05 m2 one? Is there just a difference in surface area or do the measurements of the boom and mast change? A thousand thanks
I've got a custom design K2 Falcon C ML PREMIUM from them in pastel green and claret violet in Chevron Wing design. I love🥰 it! It' such a dream of a boat! Narrow, light, but very strong and rigid. It's a pleasure to paddle with. It glides on the water surface like a dream, as if one would fly. The quality is fantastic! Their colors are also very very nice, nice shiny🤩 when you get it new. You still smell the boat as it is freshly made, just like when you buy a new car. It's a one time experience. Price/Quality wise they are imho the best among those 4-5 kayak makers we have got in Hungary.
