Thanks so much. N.I. support is fair however, when dealing with them by email and only receiving ONE response/reply per day as you're complying with instructions, it can get a little fatiguing and frustrating, which there's not much we can do about it but "hurry & wait" However, thank you for your heavy lifting and leg work to place all of this in a understandable fashion, and for the most part, it works.
Marcus, I’m trying to use the Roland EV5 with my Roland MIDI controller to control the volume of the built-in keyboards in Logic Pro for iPad. Can you demonstrate that, please? Thank you! John
Oooh. Good question. Believe it or not, I don't have Logic Pro for iPad since I do all of my Logic Pro music on the laptop now. :( I keep thinking I'll get it one day, but I'll more than likely have to upgrade to an M1 or higher iPad to use all the bells and whistles. If I remember correctly, there should be MIDI settings on the iPad and I'd imagine somewhere in Logic Pro on the iPad. Let me know if you find anything.
That would be awesome! If I could put a request in to them: I'd love for them to make an all black Komplete Kontrol keyboard. I'd go a step further and ask them for a 76 key version. :)
Hello Marcus, I am Karma. I'm also a composer with a little dog. 😄 Thank you for introducing yourself. I have seen a few of your videos pop up on my feed and I'm glad I came across this one to know a little more about you, the creator. I appreciate videos like this. I subbed and, nice to meet you! 😊 I'm looking forward to seeing more of you doing what you love. 😉
I am desperate. I followed your video, but the result is different. The installation still prompts these words: Installation Failed: You may need to grant full disk access to Native Access and the Daemon. Follow these steps and try again. If the issue persists, please contact support.
@@dafingaz Hey bro, thank you for your reply, I succeeded! I noticed in your video that you didn't delete some files because you didn't have them on your computer. However, I watched your words below the video and followed the steps to completely delete all Access and NTKDaemon files, and reinstalled the latest Access. I succeeded! Among all the videos and posts in this world, only you have helped me. Thank you very much, love comes from China!
@@汪叔聊音源 Wow. That's awesome and glad you got back up and running. Fingers crossed you don't have to do all that again anytime soon (I've been doing it almost once a month now for the past few months).
Man, this is so frustrating. Not on you, but with NI. So I'm following your instructions and and I can't even install NTK Daemon. Following further, I'm not getting any results for gpedit.msc on Windows 10.
I was working on a project, and I opened the eq but I also closed out the project with the eq still open, now whenever I click on the project, it only opens the eq, I can't see the project but I can still press the space bar and hear the song start to play, please help
Thanks! I used a company a while ago to animate my logo. I forgot the name of it. I think there's probably some AI software that can do it now. LOL. And of course, legends like Darin Leach (look up his artwork).
Boss I follows these instructions, and I’ve went over the process 5x before I found your video and I’m still getting the black screen “Please grant permission to NKT DAEMON….i can’t save projects in machine and this shit got me wanting to throw my whole studio out…lmfao but 4 real…I need some assistance it’s killing my work flow and vibe…thanks if u can
@@Medzk1 Not sure how often the process changes. Check the site for updates: support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/5706203334161-Native-Access-Freezes-on-Installing-Dependencies-at-Startup
@@dafingaz I tried that link this afternoon, and it said that’s not a valid sudo command, I’ll try it again tomorrow…maybe smthn will work…shit got me tight tho…I just upgraded to Ventura macOS…might jus have to downgrade…ddnt have these problems until I upgraded…😔🥸
The best I can think of off the top is to send it to a friend who has Logic Pro 11 and ask them to export each track as an audio file. Then import the audio files into an older version of Logic. There might also be a way to export Logic 11 sessions as an older version (I'm not sure how though). Either way, I think you'll have to work with someone who has Logic Pro 11.
I don't clear the rights for these for use in trailers. It's a whole process that's done by the move production companies that are interested. :) Thanks for checking it out!
I never comment on channels but.....I had to pop in and say THANK YOU11 I was able to get my NA working after much consternation.. Why do they have to make it so difficult .Gosh what a freaking hassle. Thanks again.
You know what's crazy? Since I posted this video...I've had to rewatch it 3 times because I keep running into the same issue. :( Which is crazy when I have to take 10 minutes to do it, but mentally I'm in creative mode. LOL. Glad it helped you out!
Try this and let me know if it works: I don't have Windows and haven't tested it out, but looks like the process is much easier (from the NI site): Start the NTKDaemon Service manually Press the Win + R keys on your keyboard to open the Run window. Type services.msc and click OK. Right-click NTKDaemonService and select Start. Close the window and start Native Access. If Native Access still freezes at startup, please continue: Quit Native Access and all other Native Instruments software. Download the NTKDaemon from here: drive.google.com/file/d/1dkQygMsY3vUB-ufcvUjNSpOhW0kvFCY_/view?usp=drive_link Right-click the downloaded file and choose Extract All. Run the extracted file NTKDaemon 1.x.x Setup PC.exe. Once the installation is complete, relaunch the Native Access software. If you face any issues while installing the NTKDaemon, please proceed below. In some cases, the NTKDaemon installation displays an error relating to system service permissions. Service 'NTKDaemonService' failed to start. Please follow these steps to ensure that you have the correct privileges for installing system services on Windows. Type gpedit.msc into your Windows Start menu and press enter when the app result appears. In the Local Group Policy Editor navigate to: Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > User Rights Assignment Scroll through the list on the right, to find Log on as a service and double-click it. Click Add User or Group. Add the user account to the list in order to give permission to log on as a service, and click OK. Click OK to close the policy editor window. Try installing the NTKDaemon again. The NTKDaemon installation should now proceed and Native Access will launch.
@@kaineeotbfr updated the instructions. Let me know if that works. You can find the instructions here with pictures: support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/5706203334161-Native-Access-Freezes-on-Installing-Dependencies-at-Startup
My set up has improved in 2 years. :) I still talk fast though. So...1/2x speed is your friend. Most people get value out of me talking 2x speed. When they book a 30 minute consult, they get at least 1 hour of gems in that time. 😂
Dope! I have way too many pianos (literally hundreds), so unless they send a copy my way, I probably won't do the trial. :) I don't have Windows and haven't tested it out, but looks like the process is much easier (from the NI site): Download the NTK Daemon installer here: drive.google.com/file/d/11ljCs1ZowUWBptK3OKLF5GwG_n9iWZgx/view Unzip the file and run it as Administrator After the installation is finished, launch Native Access as Administrator. If you still have problems, contact their support. That process seems WAY easier. LOL
@@Thefallenpianist2.0 Yeah. I get that part. I just can't commit to it without a direct offer from the company based on other projects and reviews I have to do before taking our daughter to college in a few weeks. :)
I’m interested in long women chior with the Ah phrase. BTW You should check out 8DIO requiem professional it’s sound a lot like this VST. I think you will like it.
Nice. I'll have to check that one out. Thanks for the suggestion. You can also check out the free choir in the LABS series. Not alot of customization, but it's free. LOL
mine says "corrupted file" and won't open at all... I tried those steps but component is empty. the project just had a few samples from Splice ...nothing major at all. its saying convert but how when it won't even open???
Ooh. That's a tough one. I think there's a way to open up the logic file (Maybe control or command and click) and get to the audio files of the track. Then you can import them into a new session. I'd also try to duplicate the session and see if that opens up or still says corrupted.
I did all the things you said, but I can’t replace my samples without the settings going back to default. How can I replace sounds or samples without resetting all my settings?
The samples that are on the pads or an audio track? If the pads, I think you can select the pad with the sample and do the "clear pad" (or it might just be "clear") option.
Thanks for asking. I haven't done the Master The Score Trailers yet. If I could choose from those, I'd go for any of the 3 trailer courses they have or the mixing course from Joël. So far, I've done the Michael Maas course: dafingaz.krtra.com/t/bUmgTRvijyoQ And the Alex Pfeffer course (I used to have a link, but it's not working any more so... LOL).
@@dafingaz thank you! By the way, I've gotten much faster in my writing thanks to you and Luke answering my questions. I'm also inspired by a fellow black family man moving into the production music field, so thanks for that too brother, ...so what's that brass library tho?
@@PGAudioworks That’s awesome. Thank you too! You kind of I share your message on social media? Let me know your IG and Facebook info. The brass library on sale is Battalion and it’s currently for $19 at VSTAlarm. And Luke is awesome! 🙌🏾
Thank you. I’ve been doing all the tweaking of my banks for every song. I was getting rid of loading samples and having to tweak the parameters that I use for every song the same way. You’ve just helped me save a whole half hour. Thank you!
