That’s awesome. Cardinal Burke says the 1962 Missal so if you want to follow him 100% you’ll need to get either the Angelus Press or Baronius Press Missal. But remember, any Missal you choose would be a good fit if you’re only thinking about Sunday Mass 👍🏻 Good luck
@@elsantomatty The layout is simple, translation is good, and the inclusion of part of the office of the Dead make it a great copy! Will you be posting more about the Little Office?
Yes, I’ll be posting Lauds, Prime, Terce, etc later. Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of time to post everything quick but most definitely I’ll be posting the rest
No, I didn’t misspeak. The Traditional Latin Mass has multiple ways of celebrating (Low Mass, High Mass (Missa Cantata) and Solemn High Mass). The Low Mass does not have the Asperges Me prayers or holy water in the beginning and it does not have the incense prayers to St. Michael the Archangel. However, the Low Mass DOES require the end prayers (Ave Maria, Salve Regina, prayer for the church, St. Michael’s prayer, and Most Sacred Heart of Jesus prayer) after the Last Gospel. Let me know if you have other questions! 👍🏻
@@elsantomatty I've recently started attending the TLM on sundays, I've gone to the novus ordo my entire life. I wanted to get a missal for sundays only, figured the stedman would be good. But as I understand it, high mass is typically celebrated sundays, so the stedman would be unhelpful then...
@@theAwkwardAvocado It really depends on the Church that you're going to. Some SMALLER churches that celebrate the TLM on Sundays will only celebrate the Low Mass because it only requires 1 priest for the sacrifice. If your church is larger and has multiple priest celebrating, they'll probably do the High Mass more often. The Stedman Missal is a great option, even though it's only for Low Mass, but in your case I'd recommend the New Marian Missal. Try to see if you can get it 2nd hand, if not, get a brand new reissue.
Hey thanks for listening! That's kind of the point. It's old radio audio so there's no way for me to get rid of the static from Pope Pius XII's voice. So to keep it consistent I just added low static to the whole video.
I find that the best for me is the 1959 St Joseph Daily Missal, it has illustrations of each part of the mass so it’s very easy to follow along when I’m serving.
It's a nice Missal; it has a lot of variations but unfortunately none of them have the Mass readings in Latin. Maybe I'll make a new video with that Missal included!

For MOST Americans, the deadline to file federal tax returns is Tuesday, April 18, 2023. That's because April 15 is on a Saturday and the next weekday, April 17, is recognized as Emancipation Proclamation Day. (Thank you.)
