Hi. You had the drone quite close to other people. Did you need to get permission to fly first? Did you even ask? Did anyone hassle you? I ask because I'm in Morzine and wanting to take my drone up. Thanks for the vid anyway.
Well, it looks like this roller coaster is going to be dismantled when the Sahara is to be remodeled, renamed, rethemed, and reopened. It really breaks my heart. I hope that they can keep it on the strip somewhere.
@22jennih I love this coaster. I rode it last year while I was in Vegas for 3-11 day. I didn't get to ride it this year because I didn't know the coaster was closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and my flight to go home was on Thursday. It's really sad that the Sahara will be closing it's doors in May of this year. I hope they will move the coaster to somewhere else along the strip if no one buys the Sahara.
I rode this a couple of days ago. It was soooo amazing!! The girl told us to put our heads back and bam! we shot off like a rocket! I was laughing so hard afterwards I had tears coming down my face. One of the coolest coasters I have ever rode.
i forgot that I saw this ride on travel channel. I forgot that it takes off so fast, without the classic coaster build up. this ride rules! in the picture we bought, it looks like I'm crying, lol.
The video doesn't do justice. It's actually a hundred times faster in real time. The operator ask me where I was from and the moment I started to answer he presses the button. It took me by surprise. Also, it's never crowded. I'm usually just with my friends in the coaster. There is no suspense of going up, you just get launched from a dead stop. It's quite frightening. The tunnel is dark with crappy quarter lockers to put away your belongings.
