@@AsiaStreet365 cheers. It was pretty wet for a couple of days but dried up pretty good after that. Nothing like a bit more of a challenge to add to the 120 hungry people 😂
Great tips guys. We are going this year. U definitely helped. Qq- I'm debating on bringing my own wood but not sure if it's worth it. Do u know how much they charge?
There is a pre order for firewood that ends next week. I would suggest to order some as it cuts down on weight and frees up valuable space. If you have the space but it may be worth taking your own. If you check out Koolazice on facebook they are the wood suppliers. I’ve been talking to them this year and they have assured me that the wood supplied is good. I think it’s about $30 for 25kg bag.
The best ones are Fusion-Loc, that is what is in the fare corner and we had on the old camper. The one that fell down is Naleon, Don't think they will be as good as the others.
Thanks. That’s just our mat for under the annex. We just had it sitting there out of the way. They are a great van. We have a big trip coming up next month, so looking forward to putting it through its paces.
It sits at 2520kg empty so that gives us nearly 500kg payload. We are out this weekend on our first shake down trip. Full water tanks (200kgs) 2 full gas bottles, full fridge, 2 camp ovens and all our other gear fully loaded like we would for any trips we do. Going to get some weights and show where it’s at soon. But it tows beautifully. Very impressed so far.
Hi, Memories Not Money, i have have been enjoying following your travels and the cooking segments on your channel. Keep the excellent videos coming. But i do have a question, when you camped at the Bend at Coen and your uncle pulled his guitar out and started playing and singing i thought to myself that face is familiar. So i was wondering if that is John Granville that plays in the band Pure Vintage? Cheers Kevin...!!😊
Hi guys, with your Big Red Bash experience, how many bundles of wood do you suggest we pre order for this years session? They have a 3x 20kg + 1 x kindling pack avail. Just the two of us. What do you think ( we'll be there with the MDC mob, incl 3 day early entry) Cheers John & Karen
I would suggest 1 bag per night. But we also have a big communal fire with in the mdc paddock that everyone is welcome around. We do ask that paddock members donate a bag to the communal fire though. Sone people just use the communal fire and don’t have there own fire back at there camp. Some enjoy both. It will also depend on if you stay down at the main stage at night until the music finishes. But 1 bag per night is a good place to start. Hope this helps.
Thanks. We’ve been that way before. We meet up with friends from cairns in Winton every year and travel together. It’s a better road via Winton and we just love the scenery.
It’s a great event. We have a shower in our camper. They have eco toilets on site. You have to take all your water with you and have to catch the waste water. Nothing can go on the ground.
