As a 54 year-old white male who has spent the majority of my ordained life in a predominantly black diocese (where I'm no longer the youngest clergyman but was into my 40s), I don't know that I'm feeling the love.

Well he seems like a man who will do right by the church. Time will tell, but I am impressed by his humility, his hunger for church planting, and his desire to win people to Christ, but then to actually disciple them Thanks be to God.
Unless the ANCA rejects female clergy, they will end up just like TEC. One cannot reject the clear and consistent two millennial old teaching of the church and scripture on one matter and not end up rejecting it on other matters

Archbishop is a very brave man. Not many public figures are willing to call out ISLAM and JIHAD for the evil in which they are. The Quran calls for the death of those who insult their religion. And their Hadiths call for the death of Christians. Bishop Mari Emmanuel was only attacked by a JIHADIST during a live streamed church service in Australia. He lost his eye, immediately forgave his attacker, prayed for his soul and asked the world to pray for his attacker for slightly criticizing Islam. I was enjoying the procession and feeling blessed as an Anglican from the Church Of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, then I saw women priests. Not Biblical. God cannot be mocked. There's no room for for women priests in Scripture. God is not a Democrat. He is God all by Himself, and what He says, goes. Women have no business being priests. The Bible tells me so
