Avoid the places in Europe with overtourism from the US. Avoid capital cities and big cities at all, at least the top three in each country. Smaller places are cosier and as interesting, and of course a lot cheaper. So all places named in this video are to be taken off your list. Look for the cities ranking 4 to 6 on the national lists, or travel to rural areas to see forests, lakes, sea and mountains.
The overton window is moving far, far left. Extreme ideas of the far left are what's in the mainstream. Conservative outlets? Where? Even Fox News is controlled corporate media. Who's in control? Big pharma controls 70% of the advertising revenue. They control the message. The left is the corportate elites party now. This whole video is propaganda for the left.
Extremism is never a good thing. The most common misconception is that fascism belongs to far right when it actually a twisted form of socialism like Nazism. In some way anarchism borders extreme libertarianism and not socialism. Balanced agenda is always best.
Ednerd, you couldn't be projecting any harder if you sat on the world's brightest light bulb. I have literally watched Democrat news anchors tell people they shouldn't worry about thieves, immediately after cutting away from live in-store interviews with store managers, _while a thief in the background was shoveling everything he could get off of shelves into a garbage bag, getting on his bike, and exiting the store._ Conservatives don't control the Overton window, and at this point I'm not sure they ever did. The Overton window is determined by who allows language, and that is and always has been the domain of progressives, who ipso facto defy conventional allowances, language being no exception. If the world has been seeing a rise in "right-wing" rhetoric, it's because progressives, as the dominant force in academia, journalism, entertainment, and news media, have taken the window and sprinted left with it like they're going for a touchdown, leaving everyone else look rightist by comparison. And if people have stopped paying attention and "right-wing" rhetoric has risen in their attention, it's because there's only so far you can get people to pay attention to lies and insanity before they start demanding fresh air from the delirium. I can't even guarantee this comment's going to stay up- _that_ is how little control "right-wing" rhetoric has in dictating discussion.
Loved this guide to Europe's hidden gems! It's great to see some budget-friendly options that are off the beaten path. Can't wait to explore these underrated spots and experience the authentic charm of these places. Thanks for the unique travel tips and inspiration! Cheers, Simon - Tales From Abroad
This is true if all you care about is architecture and superficial resemblances. I'm an American who has lived in Europe most of the last 21 years; there is nothing European about the U.S. in any substantive way.
EXQUISITE CUISINE!? i've been to france almost all vacations i went on outside the netherlands and the only food that was good in france was an italian restorant we visited. (and my lord it was good. and yes i have been to very expensive restourants, they still suck. france's 'excuisite' cuisine is something americans made up to have a upper class type restourant)
Many times I have encountered Americans saying: "Well you know, Mexicans are also colonizers" which leads me to believe they don't understand the mixed race dynamics in Latin America. Like you mentioned, with huge indigenous populations, there was no way to build a country without including them in the new nation. A farmer from Oaxaca is just as Mexican as a white businessman from Monterrey. And I think Americans have a problem understanding this, that the natives are Mexican, and up to 80% of Mexicans are mixed race. I think Americans project their own views to Latin America and think every country behaved like Argentina, but the truth is, many countries incorporated the natives in the new nations.
Sir you are right Kashmir is heaven on earth. It is a place of natural beauty on earth. But if you will go deeper and research on the ground. It is dirty and freshwater reservoirs are dying day by day. Forests are being looted and forests have become deserts. There is garbage everywhere and the government has turned the fertile land into a dumping ground. The government has laws to protect water bodies and its forests, but the laws are on paper. Law enforcement agencies are extremely weak due to corruption at all levels. Very sad.
LOL is so naive and one sided. There is no complexity to this. Kashmir is inalienable part of India. But I see all wetern corrupts still hanging on to the own delusional mindset. Remove your anti Indian mindset and see the world. Your country looks smaller than other countries now.
This is an utterly misleading video. The Kashmir conflict did not begin after the British left. It existed way before that. The conflict began when Kashmir bore the brunt of Islamic invasions causing islamicfication of historically hindu land.
I am from Indian controlled Kashmir. I think only solution to this problem is referendum. But it will be only possible when all parties will agree on it.
There is no such place called Azad Kashmir. Kashmir is Kashmir, regardless of who has occupied it. Pakistani called their part of occupied Kashmir tp Azad Kashmir, which mean liberated Kashmir. This raise the question, who they liberated and from who? At the end, Kashmiri are occupied by three countries, and nobody ask what the Kashmiri wants. Almost all kashmiri wants their own country back in to their hand so they can leave in peace.
