Good questions and good podcast. Few things that I have learned in my past 8-10 years in the market - You can't predict the next sector rally. It is very hard to shoot the rabbit. So don't. - Get fundamentally good stocks and decent prices and hold them for a while. - Learn fundamental analysis and create a balanced portfolio that will be okay in most market conditions. No more than 50% mid-small caps. Add some gold. - The biggest driver of a young man's portfolio will be their income. Focus on increasing that before trying to optimize portfolio. - Invest in index, mutual funds, and tax rebate schemes until annual income is 2-4x the annual expenses. Only then think about buying individual stocks and learning to optimize. - Buy a home early. That one I agree with. Don't go too overboard and take big EMI. See if you can get a decent 2BHK in good location where you can get jobs in the future. - Don't buy an expensive car. - Learn the cost value of your time. Make sure you are spending it wisely :) Happy Investing!

Mutual fund is good ,but but If u invest 10 lac in good small cap stock for 5 to 10 years ,it will multiple to 10 ×to 20× One cr is not a hard work,time frame is minimal I see stocks multiply 10 times in a single year So take a more calculated risk ,invest in good fundamentally growth small cap stock Be crorepati 😂 Be practical last 10 years very good for stock mkt,next 10 years also very good for stock mkt
Everyone doesn't have that much time to manually track and invest their money, so here mutual funds come handy. Also you are right about the lump sum investment, but the problem here's that everyone won't be willing to take that risk.
Kas 24 yrs age me eaisa knowledge hota to ab 10 cr. Ka malik ban jata. Abhi main 48 years old economics teacher.3000 sip from 2012 and Lockdown se agressive investment start kiya tha. Allmost 1 cr ban gaya.
