Here's the problem I have with this missal that I haven't been able to figure out. For example, Sunday 5/19/2024, was Pentecost Sunday. I found the readings for Pentecost Sunday easily, but then when I look for the weekday readings for Monday--Saturday following Pentecost I can't find them. The section ends with Pentecost Sunday. Same with Holy Trinity Sunday and some others. Where are the weekday readings in this missal following special Sunday celebrations?

All the Missals are very Bad except the Saint Andrews missile. Beware the Fr. Lasance New Roman MissalWhich Was Traditional in 1945, when It Was Published also the Saint Joseph's missile !!! But Now Has Been "Modernized" To Include the John 23/ Archbishop Bugnini/Pius XII Corruptions up to 1960.These Corruptions Include the Gutting Of the Most Ancient Rites of the Church The Sacred Rites of Holy Week and the Sacred Mass.I Recommend Instead the St. Andrew Daily Missal. Which Is Still in Print in the Unrevised 1945 Edition. First of all, the term "Latin Mass" is condemned for Traditional Catholics because it includes the invalid (fake) New Order Mass in Latin and the Half New Order New Latin Mass of 1962 (Saint Joseph missile). The correct term is "Traditional Latin Mass," which properly excludes the Corruptions of the 1950s and 1960, that led up to the Vatican 2 current Protestant-Masonic-Pagan "New Mass" of 1969. The term "Traditional Latin Mass" is correctly applied only to the “True Mass” before it was Corrupted starting in 1951. The term does not properly include the Corrupted Half New Order Vatican II Mass of 1962, by which the Saint Joseph missile was the stepping stone to the Vatican 2 church's "New Mass." Fr. F.X. Lasance's New Roman Missal in Latin and English However, the only edition currently in print is a version that was "modernized" to 1958. That edition is not fully acceptable because it contains "additions" introduced by the Chief Architect of the New Order Mass, bishop Hannibal Bugnini under Pius XII from 1945 to 1958. The best traditional and most complete Catholic handmissal is the St. Andrew Daily Missal with Vespers for Sundays and Feasts and Kyriale, which was published in 1945. An exact reprint of that traditional Catholic handmissal with no "updates" is still in publication. A St. Andrew Daily Missal of 1945 The Best and Most CompleteTraditional Catholic Handmissal for Laypeople Turned to a Page on Which a Collect Prayer Occurs The Collect Prayers (Orations) in the Roman Missal Constitute Some of the Most Ancient Words That Have Come down to Us from Apostolic Times. In the Latin Originals Their Prose Rhythms And Classical Rhetoric Are Exquisitely Beautiful. In His Thousand-page "La Riforma Liturgica (1948-1975) The Chief Architect of the New "Liturgy," Bishop Hannibal Bugnini Documented in Detail the Steps Taken in 1945 To Begin the Destruction of the Catholic Mass and Divine Office Which Started in 1962 with His Destruction Of the Most Sacred Apostolic Rites of Holy Week The Purpose of Which, He Writes, Was to Introduced Protestantism Into a New church of the New Order the Vatican 2 church. Which Was in Fact Founded in 1962 to 1965 at the Vatican II Anti-council It was no coincidence that in the same year, 1956, Bugnini began his destruction of the Mass, which accelerated with the 1960-1965 corruptions and culminated in 1969 when the New church abolished the True Mass entirely and replaced it with the Protestant-Masonic-Pagan Novus Ordo Service. Nor was it any coincidence that in 1968, the year before the Novus Order was introduced, this New church abolished the Sacrament of Holy Orders and the Catholic priesthood, replacing it with a Protestant-based New Ordinal that merely "installs" presbyter-ministers like the Protestants. Thus, there is no Mass in this New church -- 1962 or 1969 -- because the personnel simulating it are not ordained priests. For the same reason, you are hearing more talk in New church about the coming of priestesses and deaconnesses. All of this New church's corruption in liturgy, doctrine, and morality is completely understandable when you accept the reality that is before your nose: the New church of the New Order is certainly not the Catholic Church, and no true Catholic can have anything to do with it. Paul VI-Montini, Sells out the Catholic Church To the Freemason fake priest Hannibal Bugnini Architect of Invalid (Fake) New Order Catholic church. Protestant-Masonic-Pagan "New Mass" in 1969. But It Was Pius XII Who Appointed bishop Bugnini To Head the "Reformation Committee" Which Gradually from 1951 to 1962 to 1969 Destroyed the True Mass of the Catholic Church !!! The Traditional Latin Mass (Which Is Not the 1962 New Latin Mess) by the heretic John 23. This is why we use the St Andrews missile and no other falsified missiles. God Love you

Easy to follow. It shouldn't be that hard but it's usually presented by someone who thinks you know how to navigate the books. This is a basic introduction. So glad I kept looking.

You probably won't see this but I'm just getting started but I have one issue...I can't find the concluding prayer to use. As a reference, we are in Lent (Thursday after Ash Wednesday) and I was looking for the Midday closing prayer. The psalmity says to pray the conclusion as in the ordinary. So i flip to the ordinary and it doesn't have a concluding prayer. It just says after concluding prayer...

How does a person know which Eucharistic prayer will be used? Are they different according Years A, B or C? Or are they different in each parish? And one more question; can you tell me the difference between volume I and volume II of the weekday missal? Thank you so much for your time in expaining.
@henrykai777
@henrykai777 Год назад
There are 4 main Eucharistic prayers and the priest has the option to choose. The one that is the most commonly used is the EPII which is the shortest and has its own preface. The EP1, or the Roman canon can be used at every Mass, especially at Masses where Saints included in the Roman Canon are celebrated. It is also the longest so it is the least commonly used by priest, although it was the only option before Vatican II. EPIII is suggested for Sundays and feast days, and is also recommended for requiem Masses since it contains a special prayer for the deceased by name. EPIV is also very rarely used and can be chosen for Sundays in OT. It’s theme is centered on the history of God’s creation. Since the priest has the option to chose year round, each parish can be different. The only way to surely know which EP the priest will use is to ask him before Mass. Some make up their mind before or after the preface. But the beginning of each EP are easily distinguishable so as soon as you identify them when the EP starts you can just flip your missal to the one corresponding. My advice is to memorize the first sentence of each EP so you know right away which one the priest is using. EP1 starts with, “To you, therefore, most merciful Father”, EPII starts with “You are indeed holy, O Lord, the font of all holiness…”, EPIII with “You are indeed Holy, O Lord, and all you have created rightly gives you praise..” once you know them, you can easily flip to it in the missal. Since EPII has its own preface, and many priest use it, you can also memorize the preface so you know he’s going to use EPII. Some missal editions have different volumes, one for each liturgical season(s) throughout the year. For example, St. Joseph weekday missal has Volume I which includes the Masses from Advent to Pentecost and volume II covering those from Pentecost to Advent. The third volume in this set is the Saint Joseph Sunday Missal, which has readings for Sundays. The one in the video has all the readings year-round for all the years.
