I would blur your apartment number out. You're a young, small person living alone and posting videos that any weirdo can see. Also be careful showing the view outside your door and windows.
i only got into your videos super recently (like within three days i think) but i have been having sm fun. they've gotten me really motivated to write a zero draft for one of my stories, since i always get stuck in outlining hell and never sit down and write my stuff. i think i suffer with perfectionism, but watching your vlogs about writing books 1 and 2 of project star (?) has reminded me that sometimes all i need to do is jsut get the story down and then i can always come back to it and keep working on it. conrgats on achieving your challenge! i hope you have a lovely day and the rest of your writing goes well <3
So awesome you're settled into your place girl. 🎉 Hope it feels more homey as time goes on. I've always wondered what it's like to live alone, maybe one day I'll find out. Also, still shocked you got tattoos but they are AWESOME, no doubt they'd be centered in your projects cause DUH only real writers get it ❤❤
Haha yes I will definitely be making this more of my “home” at time goes on 😋 Honestly I live getting tattoos lol there will def be more in the future! And yes WRITER TATTOOS ALL THE WAYYY
I remember when you said last year in the video that you printed draft 3 and you put it into a little binder that next year it’s coming a moving vlog and now you are in your new apartment 🥹🥹 THE YEAR PASSED REALLY QUICK ❤
Hello, I have a question, what website are you using in the writing part of this video? It looks so cool! Also, do you have any tips on how to motivate yourself to reach your daily word goal? I saw you watched Wall-E, did you do it for inspiration, or just to have fun and relax?
hello! i'm using the writing program called Papyrus Author !! the base program is free which is really nice lol honestly, i was just watching wall-e for fun haha! but i do love watching sci-fi movies while writing in order to motivate me. i also love watching videos about people's processes in other creative mediums to motivate myself! as someone who doesn't write screenplays or produce films, i find those kinds of videos (for some reason lol) SUPER motivating!
I love taking my physics knowledge and putting it into my stories, like totally not necessary for the book I am writing currently given that it is complete fantasy but I have realms interacting with each other through quantized energy levels and realms stick together like covalent bonds.
I always find it interesting that you don't make that many character notes I until you start writing. Most of my outlining is just figuring out the characters because then I find they kind of write the story themselves.
idk man no matter how hard i try i cannot understand my characters until i write them for the first time... i think maybe i see how they influence the story, and then base their characterization off of that ?? i have no clue lmaoooo
Girl why have we both recently been surrounded by cannibalism something cause literally I was watching a movie and researching the other day for a short story idea 👀 Also, I love your process and the brainstorming, always enjoying the vibes and cheering you on! ❤❤
Hey Sophie, I hope you're doing well ❤ I was wondering if you could tell me what software you use to write? Like what you're writing your draft on and the word counter that says "Time for a coffee." I can't seem to figure it out just by trying to read the screen haha
I know I am not Sophie but I can help you out too, that program is called Papyrus Author! It can be confusing at first but when you get into it it's a really cool and useful program and as far as I know it's completeley free!! Hope this helps :))
I been on a marathon watch of your videos lately. I’m curious, what is your writing process? I noticed you used A LOT of note taking approaches so I’m curious about your thought process.
Hi! I’ve actually been meaning to make a “writing processes” video so this is perfect timing! I do tend to hand write my novels which is what’s I’m working on here but in regards to the many ways I take notes I honestly just use what I think will work for me in that specific moment (especially for the brainstorming phase) whichever way I can get information out the easiest and quickest is what I use! Which results in a LOT of different looking notes haha
Sorry I missed the writing sprints yesterday. My sister invited me to go shopping with her. I got volumes 1 and 2 to my warrior cats series called The Starless Clan. So I now have 4 volumes to read before I get the last two to complete
Did I just catch you typing with your nails?! 😭Well, that traumatized me lmao but also, because of you I felt like picking up my sci-fi wip again and now I'm already like 6 or 7 chapter back into it and I love it. It's a big mess because it's draft #0 but it's slowly getting somewhere (and it's really unhinged)
lmaooo i genuinely don't know how to type NOT w my nails so... my apologies lolol yess sci fi twins! i'm totally in the same boat as you tho. these zero drafts really are so chaotic
Your Videos always motivate me to go work on my writing projects, thanks for that! I just today decided to join in on Camp NaNo, trying to write a play for the first time (I've outlined it a few months ago but then never actually wrote it). And I'm also moving this month (or rather starting to, the flat needs some renovations so it'll probably take until next month but I am so exited to finally be out of my parents my house lmao
Yasss so glad to hear your goals!! I know I said I'd work on Project R in Camp but I decided to write a brand new idea from these fun story summaries me and my bestie have. Secret hush hush ... it's for her birthday. NOT ANOTHER NOVEL TRUST I WILL DIE. But it's gonna be around 30k I hope, speed draft. The story has lots of How To Train Your Dragon vibes which is one of her favorite movies. ❤❤❤
The only thing I prepped is come up with an ending for my sci-fi project, so I could actually finish it in July (i wanted it to be done in camp april but that did NOT work)... I hope this will work, I still need some filler scenes so the ending makes sense but I think I can just make them up as I go since it's nothing too fancy (I hope)
I've never seen a video like this, where someone talks about their inspirations! Your art is amazing, as someone who draws and writes it's nice to see someone else who has the same hobbies!
I always love the vibes of your stories girl, and to hear all your INSPO is just AWESOME!!! ❤💙💚 I know TVD and a lot of music artists gave me love for Project R. Ashnikko, Snow Wife, Mimi Webb, DeathByRomy, and Fløre! I wish writers would post more about topics like this!
alec benjamin, skydxddy, lauren weintraud, chole adams, kyle hume, taela, jessia, andi, zoe clark, maddie zahm, chase mcdaniel for music I know that is alot but that is all my fav artist on spotify
honestly lovely/interesting music taste i love arctic monkeys and hozier the most. i don't think any of my recs would fit your musical inclinations but I've been loving the amazing devil and the lemon twigs lately as well as a lot of 60s/70s/80s artists. i am also disastrous at finishing series and I LOVE CURIOUS ARCHIVE! i've been really into vintage sci-fi like enemy mine, the day the earth stood still, forbidden planet, space odissey, invasion of the body snatchers, the andromeda strain, the fly, the thing, silent running and fantastic planet! if that's your thing...
