It's the garden of Eden! So lovely, and I can see so much work that you've put into it. You must be near a major airport. Beautiful ponds as well. I always wanted one that came down a hillside like that. We have bees here, about 10 hives. The collect water from the ponds as well as from flowers. If you haven't seen any, that means something has happened to the hive.

Hi Tammy! Your backyard is absolutely gorgeous! I love fresh corn 🌽 on the cob. My grandparents used to farm corn. So I know the saying about corn being knee high by July. Love fresh peas. So funny about two types of peas from one packet. We are having fresh garden green beans tonight. Aww love fresh spinach. Strawberries are so good. We have been eating our cherry tomatoes. Dahlias are lovely. I have a video on my channel of my zinnias in bloom. The biggest pumpkin. Lol! I have never grown roses. I should try. You are really big into gardening. Love the ponds and waterfall. You can make tea with your lavender. Strange about no bees in your yard. Could be the pesticides. So fun to have fish. Sad about eating the baby fish. Gardening is so healing even when one has chronic pain. I find peace in my garden. Thank you for sharing your happy place and lots of healing. Take care ❤️
I have also donated journals, normal sized and mini, the the cancer center that it treating my mom. They seem to be greatly appreciated. Mine are not as nice as yours, as I am at my moms taking care of her and do not have all the craft supplies I am used to. So glad someone else donates journals. Hugs and prayers coming your way.
Journaling has been such an important part of my healing journey and I know others can and do benefit from journaling also. There are many ways to help people and I love that some of us make and donate to cancer centers whether it's hats, blankets, or journals they are all appreciated and used. Thank you for doing your part. I hope your mom is comfortable on her healing journey!🩷🥰
Tammy I hope you are doing well. You sound very upbeat. It was exciting to hear that creating is making you feel good before going to bed and getting up. That is so awesome to hear! I think crafting has kept me going even on my not so good days. It boosts our morale to get our minds off things. I am trying to be positive even when I am not so good. The pleasant mood helps. I do not like to dwell on my pain. I am so happy that you had a great experience with being fitted for your prosthesis. I found the same compassion when I got fitted for mastectomy bras. I believe insurance is all different for what is covered. I get 3 mastectomy bras every 3 months. I found a wonderful one I like from the American Breast Care. They hook in the front. My surgeon suggested a place near her office that helps mastectomy patients with bras, etc. I do have Nordstroms here. I have not been there in years. I loved watching you make your tags and flowers. This journal will be so fun and cheery. Crafts Direct is in my state about 40 miles from where I live. They have been there for over 30 years. I know a lot of people shop there online. I have been to their store many times. Unfortunately, they are closing. It was announced around Easter. So they have been liquidating. I'm not sure where this is at. I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend. My husband and I are off to the theater to see Sound of Hope. It is a true story. It looks good and very powerful. Take care.

I'm super happy with the prosthetic! We went to the neighbors house to watch the fireworks yesterday and I met new people with confidence, it was so great!❤️I also love Nordstrom, when I was young and in the corporate world that was my main shopping place, such great customer service!

I'm in the same boat as you with having too many things already collected, most of my collected stuff is for fall and Christmas so I feel ok getting more digital that are not those themes, at least that's what I tell myself, haha!! I abandon all my journals at Little Free Libraries and sometimes at the free library at the Senior Center. I think donating to our local cancer treatment center would be a great thing to do, as well. Treasure Books just did a tutorial on a special cover using only one 12x12 paper and I think I'll use that idea for easy covers. TFS!

@TammyVanAntwerpArt I had to switch to a different program called CapCut. It uploads so fast. I love it! I am using the free version, so I can not edit it at all. But so far, so wonderful! Yep, the 2020 bug is still bugging me. Really did a number on my eyes this time.
These are going to be adorable journals! 😱 It’s over 100 all week, so won’t be doing much. Heat wipes me out. And if my little window AC doesn’t cut it, I might find myself either at my friends house or at a hotel. I already got exhaustion once a couple of weeks ago. It’s amazing to me how much you have been through and how strong you are! You are such an inspiration. Truly, an amazing woman! I remember the little chocolate squares for dieting. My mom popped those while drinking Tab. I was always made fun of because I was just a little bit chunky. I mean now, people wouldn’t even think twice about it. But back then, it was bad. Between them and my parents, I had so many problems with my body image and eating. I am so glad that I am at a point in my old age where I just don’t give a crap. 😂 You are off to a great start with these fabulous 70s journals! Enjoy the 4th. Hugs 🤗❤️
Hi Tamara, thank you so much for your comment! I always love hearing what's on your mind. Sounds like we had similar childhoods, we always had Tab in the house too, haha. The heat wipes me out too, it's exhausting, thankfully we have central AC and while the house still heats up, it's way cooler than outside. Going to a hotel is a great idea. When I was pregnant with my son (august birthday) I would have my husband drive me around just so I could be in the air conditioned car, haha! I know what you mean about body image, I don't give a crap either although I did find myself feeling uncomfortable going out in public with only one boob, haha. I got a prosthetic and two new bras yesterday so that issue is solved! Have a great 4th and try to stay cool! ❤️🤍💙🎆
People really are reckless with fireworks, it amazes me every year. I'm betting you can see some cool fireworks from your deck? But/and also stress about fires starting.

Hi Tammy Hope you are doing well. Love how you light a candle at the beginning of your video. A harvest basket 🧺 which I love the name of it is a nice thought to gather items from your garden. Yum to the blueberries 🫐 A favorite of mine. The thought of growing your own is lovely. The books you found at the thrift store look fun. The 60s to 70s journal is a unique thing. I always see vintage or shabby chic. So I am going to enjoy seeing your journal transform. I am so sorry you have a cold. I got allergies from all the pollen in the air. I am praying for you as you go through treatment. I did physical therapy for lymphadema, which my surgeon suggested. It helped with the swelling of my chest too. I had fluid build up. My surgeon drained some off in a clinic procedure. Some has helped. I need to have more surgery to stretch skin and drain fluid. I will have drain tubes. You have been through a lot in such a short period. Love your emphera. Bright and cheery. Your wildflower journals sound lovely. Do you have an Etsy Shop? Your 4th sounds nice with a cook out. The harvest basket has been getting a lot of use, yesterday I used it to gather lettuce for a yummy salad. Allergy season has been bad this year! I've been extra stuffy with yucky nasal drip that makes me cough. I think I will have my last physical therapy appointment next Friday, my arm chest area is tight but no pain thankfully. Although I just got a prosthetic yesterday and wore it for a few hours and I did get sore, I think it's something I will have to ease into. I had two drains for almost 2 weeks after my surgery, I really did not like those at all. You have been through so much, with more to go. I'm so glad you were able to advocate for yourself! It's amazing what a difference if makes to have medical professionals who actually listen and let you be a partner in your care. I do not have an Etsy shop anymore, it was too much work and too stressful so I shut it down. I really like gifting my journals, it brings me so much joy. Have a great 4th of July!🎆❤️🤍💙
