Hi I have been to opticians too with same thing I am not going to do injections I just look at the you tube to find a home remedy will try to get laser if it's possible. Good luck 🙏🏻
Dr. Sb, I m suffering from vein occlusion (swelling problem) blurry effect at the center. The doctor recommended an injection, but I m hesitant to proceed with it. I hv high blood pressure and have recently been diagnosed with sugar as well. If u could recommend the best eye drop or medicine for it, it would be greatly appreciated bcoz right now, an injection is not an option for me.
My mother's MRI report says the orbital part of the right optic nerve is thickened and shows diffuse t2 hyperintensity. the optic nerve sheath is thickened with mild surrounding fat stranding. mild right proptosis is seen. Can this be cured ?

Saying it doesn’t have any symptoms is false. My eyes have been checked for years before I decided to explain my symptoms. I told my new doctor my symptoms were floaters and flashes when I would look up in the mirror to do my hair or etc. it’s when I really needed my peripheral vision that I noticed these signs and eyes would be sore like I was straining them. I got checked and found out I had retina holes in both eyes so I got laser surgery. Here I am years later having two surgeries in both eyes and officially diagnosed with lattice degeneration. Meanwhile throughout this process I still have 20/20 vision.
I’m dealing with the same exact thing. I have holes in my eyes 20/20 vision but also floaters and flashes. I was also diagnosed with lattice degeneration and I’m scared of laser treatment. How was it for you ?
@@kimberlylopez8049 it is scary but I’ve had good experiences. They first numb and dilate your eyes. Then they wait until it’s fully dilated and numb. With a laser in a dark room the holes are burned closed, they hold your eye open. I’m not going to lie to you and say my eyes weren’t sore afterwards or when it’s first over I see blackness but it instantly clears after a few seconds. My eyes do remain sore that day from being pressed open during the process with the optical glass on it but the flashes leave and I feel better. In about 6 weeks they do a check up on the healing process and that’s it. I highly encourage you to do it. I know they say you don’t have to get the procedure but I’d hate for your retina to tear more. I’ve now had it done in multiple times in my eyes because every few years more come.
@@kimberlylopez8049I also encourage you to bring sunglasses afterwards as well as have a driver. My doctor encouraged it and let me tell you the last thing I wanted to do was drive afterwards.
Me too, well, I'm not 20/20. I'm currently -5.75 and -6.25 on my prescription glasses. I'm 25. I was diagnosed with lattice degeneration when I was 22. I was also seeing floaters. I'm due for another check up already and I'm afraid. The doctor said I should be seen yearly. Healthcare here in the US is so expensive. 🫠
