Ronnie, I used to have that exact shredder. You’re right about it being heavy duty. As far as your deer, you said that you typically feed them apple-flavored corn? Or did I mishear you? I’m interested because I’ve got to fill my feeder.
@@Mark-Marine yes sir. I do usually fill the feeder with apple flavored corn. But with the shoulder problem right now I just bought regular corn in 40 lb bags. The apple flavor corn I get is in 50lb bags. If I use regular corn I will usually put kool aid mix with it, but I didn’t think ahead and have my wife pick some up at our HEB which is the grocery store we have. Thanks for watching Mark!!
I've got a Rebel 5410. Im trying to replace the haysaver wheels. I removed the center bolt and set screws from the inner and outer bearing. I still can't get the assembly off. Do you know what I'm missing? Help!
@@mickeywalker8885 I don’t even mess with taking the bearing off. It’s a pain. I just take the whole assembly off and unbolt the wheel from the hub. It’s a lot easier than messing with those bearings. Thanks for watching!!
@@Mark-Marine thanks, luckily I bought this cutter a few years back, when they weren’t as expensive. I have looked at new one recently and it’s gonna be a while. I had originally bought this one for the John Deere. I will get another one, one day. Thanks for watching!!
You know, Ronnie, I used to think David had such a pleasant disposition when you first started your channel. Now I have noticed in the last couple of videos he’s done solo some of your attitude rubbing off lol
Make sure to plug the cable pass through on the rear window to keep the baler dust out. I just bought the same tractor and got rid of a 7060. Front tires was a good upgrade and the 12 speed trans was what got me to trade. Good video.
You bought the Cadillac of the M 7060 line. What an upgrade! Thanks for posting this because when I saw the fender in the last video I knew it was different from the 7060. What a deluxe tractor that will give you a comfortable ride and plenty of gears to choose from. Congratulations again 👍🏻
Ronnie, I think your hay is dry enough to bale when you cut it. I really feel for your crop this year and pray for rain. Now, I can’t believe you teased us with a new Kubota tractor purchase and didn’t share what it is you got! Congratulations.
Ronnie, I’m glad it’s working out for you. It’s hard to judge a time-lapse, but given the amount of dust coming out of the back of the cutter, you’re already bone dry down there.
I went with the Krone because I had the 9.5 ft and it was flawless. I mean I just changed the blades and checked the gear oil and greased the u-joints. I did have to replace the vent on the cutter bar because it started leaking oil but other than that all I ever did was cut hay with it.
Nice. In my area I don’t see much Krone, it’s either John Deere or Vermeer. I just can’t beat the financing and Ktac insurance. So that was my deciding factor on this purchase. Now I have a lot of thinking to do, because I am thinking about a new baler. But I have a while to figure that out.
Dodge 1-tons were notorious for wearing out the front joints. When I bought a used 98 model some years ago, they jacked it up so I could manipulate the wheels and see if there was play. When you get home you might ought to try that.
Thank you, we did a little paint work on it. It’s no where near perfect. There is still a few things that I need to do to it. The power is there. I can tell a big difference from my kubota M7060 thanks for watching!!
After I applied this last year, it was doing great, we then went into another drought. So I didn’t do a follow up video. But I have already ordered it again for this up coming year. I have applied it 2 years straight. Even tho we have had drought conditions I can see the difference for the results with limited precipitation if that makes sense. I am hoping to be able to use it a couple of times this year, just depends on the weather. But I do like it even tho I am only getting one cutting each year. It’s not the fertilizer’s fault.
IF it survives a couple of Texas summers without cracking under that massive coat, then who’s to say that you did anything wrong. Of course, even Krylon for BBQ pits/grills has coating directions on the back of the can lol. Be proud, Ronnie, one thing about you is that you do it your way come hell or high water 👍🏻
Well, I’m thrilled you shared a hunting video. Hunting is different down your way. Oh, we can use feeders, but the Game Warden will make us pay dearly for the privilege lol. Hey Ron, I don’t hear too much about the .257 Roberts anymore. That’s a fine cartridge. What make of rifle do you have it chambered in?
Hello Mark, thanks for being an avid viewer shoot from the beginning. It’s Winchester Model 70 with a 4 x 12 x 50. I just got it a couple of months ago so I need to go sight it in. I took it and an old faithful single shot 223 that I put a new scope on. I just was in a hurry so I did stop by the range. Thanks for watching. I am gonna try and film another hunt in the next couple of weeks. David still needs to knock two deer down for our freezer.
Those ford's are tough. They do not build them like that anymore. We had a 3910 and a 4600 Ford. Neighbors had 2 of those 4x4 version. I hope the ac works. That will be like an oven in the Texas heat.
I use to run big Fords back in the 70s. My old neighbor has the 4WD version of your tractor. He’s put a ton of hours on it but I know of no problem that he’s ever had with it beyond the air conditioning may not have worked. I was surprised at how wide the tread width appeared on the video. Anyway, wish you the best with it 👍🏻
Ingersol Rand, just a regular 3/8” air hose and the grit just depends on the amount rust and paint that you need remove from your trailer. I used 320 grit but my trailer had light surface rust.
I got the same disc. Looks like you got yours eating pretty good. I would appreciate if you could explain how to make adjustments to get it to do the job properly.
I will do a video on it next time I hook it up. The most important thing to do is make sure disk is level. You can adjust that by the nuts in the front that is on that threaded rod. Thanks for watching!!
Hello it did. I didn’t make a results video because we went into a drought again. I am fixing to put some on my rye grass. I honestly think if I can get some moisture it will prove itself good. I have been using it for 2 years, but I can only get one cutting because we go into drought situations. I am not sponsored by them. I have gotten a few of my hay customers to use it and also a few other friends have tried it also. In my opinion it works. Also it’s priced right. When I do spray my rye grass I will make another video. Thanks for watching!!!
Beautiful country. I looked into moving around floresville and la vernia to be closer to my daughter but can't afford that premium price! Coming from east Texas.
I’m happy for you, Ronnie. Though I’ll confess, I’ve heard you complain about the flatbed on your old Ford and all the stuff that keeps dropping off of it lol. Congratulations.
Thanks, I can tell you I miss the flatbed already. I put the tank and the air compressor and there just isn’t enough room. Then trying to figure out all the tools. That triangle box kept a lot of stuff easy to get to. Thanks for watching.
I really don’t seem why it would matter. I would try and put close to the same size on the row. I am actually going to ad another row or two. Someone suggested that I do it. But I work for a truck dealership so I am going to get the old tires off the next truck.
