This just happened to me on Wednesday. I'm looking into TGA and watching videos. I noticed you said that "...it's what happens to you everytime." from the research I have done, I have learned TGA rarely happens a secong time and almost never a third. It sounds like your dad or husband has had multiple episodes---is this right? If this is so, Can you give me some details as to how much time passes between episodes?
Hello. I'm sorry to be late responding. Yes, this is my husband's fifth episode! I also read that it is rare to get it more than once or twice. I have no idea why he has had it now five times. The first time, I thought he was having a stroke, and again the second time. However, after the third time, I knew what it was and what to expect. It's still very scary. A neurologist was supposed to call to set up an appointment, but they never called. This episode, and now thinking back on it, also the previous ones, seem to have been triggered after taking a shower. Fortunately it seems to get over in a few hours and has no visible long-term effects. I would not have taken him to the emergency room this time if his blood pressure had not skyrocketed. I hope that your experience with TGA is a one-time event. Did they give you any information on what may have triggered yours?
I should also let you know that the last time this happened was five years ago, so it's not a common occurrence. It literally just comes out of nowhere.
Hi! I'm sorry I don't know the address. I went there with my family but I don't actually live there. All I know is it was Anderson, SC. It's put on by a church so you might be able to look it up. Hope that helps!
