This is such a dumb way to work. You can't use this shape in any way shape or form. You can't rig it, you can't UV unwrap it properly. So the result might look good but when you check the topology, is still f*cked to oblivion. Don't listen to this AI channel.
would be could if you could auto tile the beach and then use the video footage on a shaped mesh that goes around the shore to give the illusion that foam is forming naturally around the borders
It might work, i really didn't try that, i though about adding the wave modifier, still the idea is to get fast background elements with real footage so extra work is possible maybe but again this would usually go in the back far from the close up area whether it's water, fire, or any thing, so feel free to try it out mate!
In many cases beginner as i did before will try to focus on mastering everything when in fact the focus area on the final render is small so using image as clouds, trees, explosion vfx at background, or flames in fire pits can spare you a headache.
@@architecturetopics it is. but it's just so funny anyway - like there's no good way to create e.g, good looking clouds fast in blender, so just forget it and slap a photo into it😂
Good suggestion! i did try to play with the saturation on it and also try it with a bump too, bit better but not that much difference since it's mainly used as a background element for water, fire or explosions unless you're using it as a flat screen on tv it won't show that much difference from a far but nice take mate.
Architecture Topics can you do a tutorial on how to improve your lighting in cartoons scene? and also covering some tips on compositing nodes? this would help a lot ! :3
Hello, friend! My name is Lakhwinder Singh. Thank you so much for the wonderful video; I love it. Thank you for putting in the effort and valuable time to make this video. I have several questions on my mind. It would be beneficial for me if you could answer them. Thank you. 1) How many years have you been using Blender? 2) How much software do you use for commercial projects, such as Blender and DaVinci Resolve? 3) I want to reach a level like yours. Do you have any tips for me? I learn every day and night. 4) How did you begin your journey? 5) Do you follow any RU-vid channels that can help me learn more? 6) I'm eagerly awaiting your next masterpiece video. Thank you! Sending love from India.
Thanks mate! glad it helped. I would say it's been since 2018 since I switched to blender from 3dsmax, and i use them both with after effect for commercial use. I would say focus your efforts, don't try to absorb everything at once, if you're into archviz keep on it, if it's vfx well that cool, and try to do your own ideas based on other people tutorials. Blender guru, ian, ducky3d and many others can set you up on the different topics. wish you the best mate.
Sometimes when the intersect area is small the object goes puff, Boolean is not perfect in blender so you need to manage the joined part, push them together more and see if it works.
Couldn't get the depth map to change the flat mesh after applying it. Edit: Make sure you switch to object mode from edit mode and you will see the change
Nice and quite fundamental... However, the parenting should work with good old empties, doesn't ? Single verts could make rivers of tears, cleaning the scene later on...
