Funny that I know many truckers that have made it to, and passed, 500,000 miles on a truck without any issues. Part of that comes down to pre-emissions trucks, but the biggest part of that is MAINTENANCE! Not just oil changes, but going around the truck checking tires, greasing fittings and doing pre-trip inspections. Now, I see wanna be drivers just get in their trucks and go, without any thought to their safety or the safety of others, and without thinking about the tool they are driving will leave them stranded if they ignore it.
It's not difficult to diag a truck with software. How tf did they go from fuel pump to injectors? Not saying another problem didn't arise to cause it to debate again because it could have but sounds like you got fucked. And yes surge tanks can put the truck to debate. There is a float in tank and also the sensor will do the same .shame.
