I'm always curious about how most punk and emo bands' drummers always set up their hi-hats to be either at an absurdly high height or set up the snare to be at an absurdly low height 😭I can never seem to be comfortable with that setup despite being a drummer myself, and as a huge enjoyer this kind of music. It doesn't help as well when my fellow drummer friends who actually do that can't quite explain themselves, haha.
When I had a set, my friends always said I had it set up funny cause I had everything compacted together cause I learned how to play in a tiny garage 😂
