This was OG funny back in the day when I got home from a night of going to school working and I saw this I laughed but the new bird girl I did not laugh there was nothing funny about that this is where bird girl should have stayed a sidekick a side b**** whatever you want to call her.
This is also the perfect reminder why the show Birdgirl was never going to work. Birdgirl was an idiot superfan who was meant to be a clutz and a joke, not a serious main character. There was nothing there to work with to begin with and that’s why Birdgirl’s characters and writing are shallow and intellectually vapid.
Stuff like this looks like it is from a forgotten time where women were allowed to be comedic relief/stupid and not constantly be smug girlbosses that are perfect in every way.
Oh God! The writers missed squeezing in one more in-joke! Birdgirl: "I sewed it myself! ... Butterick.…" They should have had Avenger screech out "McCALL'S!" Even still, what a deep cut on the suit pattern joke!
Adult swim had pretty much no shows at the time but had the rights to ALOT of old cartoons, so they started making shows like this that were able to cash in on the old cartoons and didn't take much to produce them.
@@beavermuffin then they should haven't even bothered. The show lacks all the goofynees and random obsurdity birdman had and it comes off as a very poor rip off of archer.
@@bert_clemens2530 blame the algorithm the Warner Brothers had at the time, they had viewership for Birdman so they decided to make a sequel. At least Warner Brother Discovery can now try to cancel the show and write it off as for tax purpose, and erase the show from existence like it never existed…..
