Are they decent for beginners? I've currently got a K2 challenger inflatable but not got much confidence in it after suffering a puncture on the Trent and Mersey canal.
@@E92jamesy The Story is a very robust inflateable that makes the intex feel like a pool toy.. The Riber is just a dream hardshell & my goto kayak.. Love both of them and a million miles away from intex
Thought you may like to see what we get up to on Rudyard Lake.. This is our recent visit with a small selection of our group which now has roughly 60 members.. 15 or so of us regularly active. @morethanacleaner
I had a galaxy Cruz for about two weeks, just could not stay on it,tipped over time and time again( my girlfriend bought it but then couldn’t use it due to breaking her elbow really badly( slipped on some ice) so I bought it off her,I sold it and bought a riber deluxe and it is so much better than even the piranha kayak I had almost thirty years ago,the riber really is a great kayak, recently got a tidal rave paddleboard that I’ve yet to have a go on but I’m looking forward to it and looking forward to using it on rivers as I only have used my kayak on the sea in the wash as I don’t have a roof rack for my car but the paddleboard and all the gear fits in the boot 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@@angryduckskayak I dont know if i wanna invest in something which will develop leaks. It is 100 dollars where i live and the cheapest hard plastic one is 320. I want to try kayaking out for the first time. My dilemma is: buying a cheap one, but what if it will already fall apart after some months, or investing in a more expensive one, which i maybe wont use anymore after a year. What would u do? And do u think there wont develop any leaks when i handle it with much care.
The k1 is a good starter.. personally I would invest a little more.. I have an Itiwit 1 supplied by decathlon.. Much more durable but a little more expensive.. go on Instagram & look @angryduckskayak . This shows our fleet including the Intex & the Itiwit along with other models we use. Hope this helps
