Just an average guy who likes most things on wheels. Hotrods, drag racing, motorbikes, mountain bikes, retro is the best and if something is cool and quick it gets a thumbs up from me. Drag Racing is my passion and racing my Ford Anglia with the Outlaw Anglia guys in the UK.
BLUE ON BLUE RACING I never ended up going mate. Was supposed to be going but got let down. I did watch the web cam though and it was an awesome Sunday.
I think he was running 9s at the time but has had a lot of work done including new chassis and a big block chevy and 14/71 blower etc and runs low 8s now.
Adam Cuthbert Heck yeah. Thanks for the input. I used to ride in a 9 second bucket that my grandpa and dad built. It was a small block chevy also but totally different setup. I thought this one was gettin it. 9s are fast. I couldn't imagine it with a big block and 14/71!!!
A 70 Roadrunner has a curb weight of about 3400 pounds. Plus the driver weight youre lookin at roughly 3600 pounds (if not you need to be hittin the salad bar). However, thats in full street trim. Its pretty easy to shave 200 or more pounds of useless crap out of a drag car, even swapping to aluminum heads will save tons of weight (especially on a Hemi). Theyre heavy-ish cars, but still quite a bit lighter than a new Camaro or Challenger
Here,i give the 27th like...I described my feelings like that, dont attack like dogs.Automobiles are my passion since im a child. In my comment,i wanted to tell how beautiful those cars, dont focus on finding negatife sides in the life, that just damages you.
I can testify to the weight. I have a 1970 Plymouth Satellite 505 stroked, 3620 lbs. at the scale. He must have a shit ton of HP. I run 11.32 @ 115 mph.
'Kin Aweson fella, love the sound of that V8, takes me back to when I had a Ford Pop hot rod, get my kicks on fast bikes these day's but i'd love another V8 in the garage,
Hey man, I found this HUGE engnie! Whats the lightest, most unstable vehicle we can stuff it in? Well, I have this old 46 Willy's we could use. Ok, Light weight, short wheelbase, giganticly huge, supercharged engine in a jeep. Just what I had in mind!
@MrHighwheeler LMAO. Dont know what you drive Mr Muscles but it was all done on a very tight budget so i couldnt afford to spend a fortune on it but it run on normal petrol and was a road car and it was on low boost producing 751bhp and ran 9 sec 1/4 mile, and it was a jeep so wasnt going to handle very well was it you muppet !! Haha. Some people just are soooo negetive !
@jeepy22 id say its probably 3800 ibs or so with a BB. Mopar i THINK has always been a little heavy but has always had outstanding muscle regaurdless. It is a beautiful '70 Plymouth Roadrunner.. Any clue as to what he is runnin under the hood? And and major mods to speak of?
