I want to show you simple and easy techniques in Alcohol Ink, Watercolor, Acrylic painting and pouring and Cards so you can have fun doing what you love.
I am very happy to see you here again. Unfortunately my english is not really good and I don't understand a lot of what you say, but I love your videos and pictures. You give me so many ideas ❤❤
Thank you for video. I always love them. I was wondering what kind of paper you use because the Kirkland has been out for a while now everybody seems to use Kirkland, but there is no Kirkland so what would be your suggestion I bought some but it leaks through to the other side would like to get your opinion on another brand.
you have no idea how glad I am to be back to painting with ya'll again. I didn't realize that having someone else at home when I am wanting to film was such a buzz kill. Ha ha But that is fixed now.
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you for videos i finally got the thin leaves down I think lol. I bought a turn table so it is easier to turn. I looked up for turn table for monitor it cheaper the lazy Susan and come in lots of sizes.
Thank you. It was very sad to let him go. I plan on doing more art videos. I took some time to figure out the direction I am going with my art and sewing and how I want to sell them. But painting with everyone is my favorite.
amzn.to/3RyU29P I just love this one. But you still have to buy the gun part. I didn't need any of the extra stuff so I didn't get the kit. Just the air compressor and a gun.
I am considering buying an airbrush to learn to do this type of painting. Can you share with me the brand of the air brush without the cup you are using here?
Thanx for posting this and for not talking throughout!!! Not only is this both instructional and inspiring - it's also very soothing to me. It's one of the rare few videos with true ASMR segments. Again, thanx for not talking! LOL! 🤫🤫🤫
Geeze. I have no idea. I lightly spray mine and they don't warp. I wonder if there is too much spray.? too wet? What paper are you using? I use Costco Kirkland Glossy Photo paper. Let me know. I would like to figure this out.
I started using black acrylic ink as an alternative to Indian ink and found it flowed better from a nib (for drawing, not calligraphy). India ink seems to go gloopier than acrylic ink. Also it dries totally waterproof which certain cheap India ink brands do not. I use coloured acrylic inks sometimes for colouring illustrations. I can't see the point of alcohol ink if it's going to spread everywhere. And alcohol inks are not lightfast (I have heard). When I do any kind of picture I want the option of putting it on display or selling it in good faith that it will last. When a product isn't lightfast you don't have that option.
All True. I have found that Alcohol ink does take a long long time to fade even a little. But my things are in direct light. Each has their fun parts. I love using Acrylic Ink with the Alcohol Inks. Even sometimes with watercolor. So I guess it is safe to say I just like to paint. Ha Ha
I've been watching many alcohol ink videos for new/different techniques. Your videos have introduced me to some great ideas as well as the products to make the inks flow on the paper. Thank you!
amzn.to/3WKSddx Master TC 320 but you will have to buy the gun part. It is cheaper this way. The whole kits have things that you don't need for this type of art
I only have the tip that came with it. I do think the psi that you have it sat at has something to do with it. Also try the distance. And also if you hold it straight up and down or slant it will have something to do with it. Try different angles and see if that helps.
Thank You Blanco is dropped in with the regular ink. Blanco mixed with just alcohol is not a good look. I've never used the blending solution so I don't know there. give it a try. it is so fun and beautiful.
Love this !!! I really enjoy watching you design such unique flowers. !! You are Blessed with a Special talent!!! Please make more videos...I haven't seen any made recently...I just got interested and started alcohol ink painting this last year. Id love to see more of your stuff! ♥♥
I am ready to get back to painting. I recently got a permanent booth in a place and it has really demanded my time. But Hopefully soon I will be back to painting. Thank you I really do miss painting with everyone.
Please do not use alcohol inks around your pets or children. I have been an alcohol ink artist for years and I always have a 3M respirator mask on and my window open. Alcohol ink fumes are toxic!!! I am sure you love your pets and you don't want to expose your animals to toxic fumes. I have three cats and they are not allowed in my art studio.
My cats also like to smell the inks, but I make sure they don't enter the office.. I ask God to take care of them when I'm not paying attention.🥲🙏🏻❤️🐈🐈⬛
Good information to know!! And I’m sure she knows as she’s also been doing this for years but sometimes ppl have better ventilation than others so hopefully that’s the case. But anyways, thanks for the reminder, I definitely didn’t know these things when I first started a few years ago! 😊
I tried to tell Henry but he just wont listen. He wants to hang out and even sometimes he just sits on my art table waiting for me to come and paint. I also do not show my set up because that is not what people want to watch. I fully support everyone to do alcohol inks as they see fit. I assure you we are fine.
