This is my channel I started in 2011 making various highlights from Kickboxing, MMA, BJJ and Grappling. I like to make videos of my favorite fighters and up and coming talent. A lot of my Highlights are of Brazilians but if you take a closer look I have many highlights that aren't. I just want to make great videos that entertain and inspire people.
If you are a fighter and would like to pay for a Highlight video contact me on twitter.
There's more action in these clips then a whole bjj tournament. It's def the softest of the martial arts. Well maybe the fake hand fighting that Steven Segal uses would be close
My unpopular opinion, BJJ is the softest of all mma. Dudes can't slam each other or throw hands at all and most of them prefer to go to their back. I'm guessing most skilled bbj guys would get dominated by an elite striker or wrestler. I think bjj should be a last resort defense. You should never want to go to your back by choice
1. If you pick someone up from the guard, you must return them to the mat in the same fashion. 2. Throws/takedowns must be controlled (tore has at least 1 foot on the floor in most cases) and not land the uke on their head or neck. 3. No twisting leg/foot locks or knee hyper extension manipulation below brown belt. 4. No knee manipulation that applies inward torque to the outside of the knee while the foot is not free to move. Not that hard ppl
Not to be confused with the 2nd video clip when AJ was kicked off the stage/mat from behind before dude turned around and walked away like he didn’t just kick AJ in the back from the very first video clip that showed Dude #1 push Duder #2 off the stage/mat then proceeded to stand there and pretend as if he did nothing wrong….Should I go one to describe exactly what you just watched? Should I go ahead and do that? What do you think? Is it something no one really does on RU-vid? I can do the same with law and order episodes…People in the office love to hear me recite episodes they missed…They get excited every Monday when I pop in to empty a metal or earthenware pot typically having a funnel-shaped top, used for spitting into. Post Script: Jake Shields was in the proper right justified indeed mate. He be’s pushed ands pushed…dis nuffin four Jake the battle hardened Jake AJJ Shields scrap pack’n heavy or don’t come at all.
Due to the no slam rule it should be a thing to not pull guard on someone that’s standing up. Because there’s literally nothing they can do while the guy in guard goes for a choke or armbar. Do they really expect their opponent to just gently put them down back on the mat while they sink in a submission? The fights should be paused and reset back on the ground in those situations to just avoid 90% of slams imo
I get that slams have the potential to cause physical damage, but one would think that it is an important aspect of a grappling art. I would love to see a Mixed Grappling Arts match where Judo throws l and Westling takedowns/slams are allowed.
lol imagine bringing a “grappler” but you can’t handle being slammed . Get out of combat sports if you can’t handle impact . So much for a fighting sport lol . Cry babies
some of the competitors damn rude to the ref ..I'm assuming those making the mistakes are noob. remind me of my friend, train like fck but went into the competition and got disqualified because of the rules. lol
