Zootopia is a overrated movie for Me. The main reason why is because it makes me uncomfortable. And the deleted scene would had made the movie even worse and more uncomfortable to watch. Seriously if this movie was never a Disney animated movie and was just a live action movie without talking animals I swear this wouldn’t have been a kids movie. Wtf Disney?!
I know this is a irreverent comment but I wanted to ask you about this. A while ago you made a video about deleted Disney songs and when you did the last entry which was the frozen song. The audio went crazy. Can you tell me what you were going to say and why it happened?
I thought this pilot was decent, I found it charming and interesting, but I will say it didn't make me laugh a lot and it was kinda generic. I hope to see this cartoon evolve and get better though, as LS Mark is one of the only good cartoon reviewers out there.
Honestly, I do agree the ending is pretty good as rob finally stands up for himself with the help of clay but I I just felt like the whole show feels like another generic slice of life cartoon with loser characters hell even what are the first scenes of clay getting tripped up by the Wolf bully who ends up mocking him but overall, I hope he does fix that too. If not then we’ll definitely show him up for sure
The "milkshake" being referred to in that particular song is a euphemism for a woman's sex appeal; so yeah, *definitely* not an appropriate song for SpongeBob's target demographic. 😖
I hope the 4th SpongeBob movie does well because it’s going up against Avatar 3 and Five nights at Freddy’s 2 movie battle for next year holiday season box office numbers I think that Avatar 3 should make another 2 billion dollar movie since Avatar 2 in 2022 and FNAF 2 I would say it would make around $500 or $600
Dude, I knew you were gonna have that BK commercial in this video because honestly, I agree like, what the hell were they smoking when they made that and have to be marketed towards kids that’s like making a commercial with the song parody of Nookie by Limp Bizkit or Custer by slipknot
Fair points overall but I think Plankon looking scarier than usual goes perfectly with the fact he is a legimate threat this time around. Pretty sure it was the intention.
One thing to note is that in both the crowd in the Krusty Krab 2 manager scene and near the end before the Goody Goober Rock song, SpongeBob is referred to and refers to himself as a “spaz-ball” as a callback to the start of the film. In the UK, the phrases “spaz” and “spastic” are basically PG-rated equivalents to a disability slur that rhymes with Regarded. Surprisingly, in the UK Netflix version I watched last year, the phrase wasn’t altered.
I know another animated movie that should have been rated PG-13: All Dogs Go to Heaven. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good movie, but there’s lots of stuff in it that should have warranted a PG-13 rating. Mild Language - at one point, Charlie calls a character in a story he’s reading to Anne-Marie a “bimbo”. And, in the uncensored soundtrack of “let me be surprised”, he says, and I quote, “damn that Carface, I’ll kill him!” References to tobacco and alcohol - the dogs in the movie drink a lot (heck, Charlie himself gets drunk as part of Carface’s plan), and whenever Carface is on screen, he’s always smoking a big cigar. Gambling references - Gambling is a very common occurrence in this movie. Both Charlie and Carface run casinos, and we constantly see Charlie gambling at various race tracks to gain the money for his casino. Frightening imagery - right before we see King Gator, we see the skeletal remains of his previous victims, but, most notably for this category: Charlie has a nightmare about literally going to hell, complete with a horrific demon that is basically the dog version of Satan. In the extended version of this scene (and no, I’m not making this up, you can find it on RU-vid) this demon flies down to Charlie and bellows “NOW YOU’RE MINE!!!” (Complete with a closeup that is creepy af), and that same demon comes back near the end of the movie. Violence - When Carface first kills Charlie, he runs him over with a car. The filmmakers animated Charlie getting hit by the car, but cut that shot out. During the aforementioned nightmare scene, Charlie is tortured rather brutally by some imps. Carface then tries to kill Charlie with a ray gun (though it was intended to be a machine gun, but even without the sci-fi laser sound effects, this gun can still be seen as a machine gun)). Later, Itchy gets attacked and almost beaten to death by Carface and his thugs, and we see just how jacked up he gets. Plus, in the climax, King Gator literally eats Carface alive.
Yeah even though I grew up in the time that cartoons took risks and were willing to push how far they can get away with stuff like this and will I was by the time used to many things the time I saw the movie in theatres some stuff did freak me out and still at times make me cringe a bit (Not bad cringe just uncomfortable or freaked out a little cringe) like the ice cream lady monster. That I think for some odd reason creeps me out the most but since thanks to this vid jist learning that Dennis's voice actor is an actual killer it makes Dennis's character more disturbing.
Honestly, another thing I would note is the fact that plankton actually became more of a menacing villain in the film I mean he’s like up there with satam Eggman Because he literally went from just a simple villainous goofball who’s only Goal it’s just steal the crabby patty formula until a literal villainous dictator who went from trying to steal the formula to end up enslaving everyone of bikini bottom hell, he was so petty and evil that even after SpongeBob returned the crown to King Neptune, he decided to Drop the mind control bucket on King Neptune to put him under his control and continue the execution all the while he mocked SpongeBob for being just a kid, I mean, that’s just pure villainy if I do say so myself but overall, I do agree that it was a great film nonetheless, and that I hope the 4 movie would be just as good
I'm surprised you didn't mention when Spob and Pat are trying hard not to sing a long to the Goofy Goober song. The faces they made there scared the crap outta me as a kid and actually made me run out of the room whenever that scene came up.
