Hi WallopStraightin, I’m Anton Severinsson (CirciutKings), and I’m working on a video about motorsport crashes. I would love to use this clip in my crash compilation. Would that be fine? I will, of course, give full credit and link back to your original video. Thank you so much for your time and consideration! Best regards, Anton Severinsson (CirciutKings)
So glad someone caught that. I watched it from turn 1 as the slow motion pile up happened. Credit to Kyle for getting up and taking a bow after being upside down. Thanks Kevin for the footage. Pity so many cars didn’t make the grand national because of the damage from this though. Oh well, on to the next one. Keep fighting for the points people.
Yeah that's what I heard and the rear wheels were still revving while still in the fence until George hit the kill switch. Thankfully both were OK although no doubt a little sore, it was a big one
@@joshmorris5156 not really, the decent meetings at Skegness in October was more than enough contact and shock Tom didn't win much - that just didn't happen often enough though
there was a few hits more than this initial one having viewed more footage. But a lot of them were bumpers in with it all to play for @@martophetbroek8723
Please see the original video from Kevin S on Twitter as stated in the description for better quality... Some just come out better than others I'm afraid
@@Conference87 He is not old fashioned, he is just a bully sometimes, especially if he is being outdriven or someone hits him. Cleaned his act up a lot in recent years but you can still rattle him into driving like a bellend
Don't understand the positive reaction to this classless stunt if I'm honest. It was devoid of any skill, finesse or merit. The number 8 had lap after lap to plan her move and yet still went in with this mis-timed, badly executed, careless and dangerous shambles. And just to add to the display, kept her foot in to make sure 97 wasn't getting out of the fence in one piece. If this had been anyone else deliberately launching over another car, it would have been subject to INTENSE criticism. 97 had no choice but to suck it up afterwards. I'm no 97 fan boy, but he's the one everybody should be thanking for lighting up that final. She has made a name for herself by making a complete hash of that last lap. Good for her.
Ryan went in deep, so Catherine had to go in harder, yes might have not been the best attempt, but you have to try... Complaining about a last bender in a major of which nobody has in the past or will in the future ever give any critism, except for you? 😂😭 Embarrassing
@@WallopStraightIn Sad state of affairs when something like this is the greatest thing since 1991. I'll stand by my criticism thanks, it is as valid as anyone else's.
I'm with you, @markbrabham This type of behaviour should have finished about 50+ years ago. It's not 'racing', at all, it's not even stock car racing, it's banger destruction derby with stock cars!
Only just come across this - lovely tribute. Bill was an extremely special driver and to see that 1300 car going around was magnificent. I watched him through the 1970s and 80s and even raced against him for a little while and he was truly in a class of his own. Thanks for sharing this.
