Thank you for making this review! I was wondering if the cappuccino would work because I’m mixed and on the lighter side of things. I just ordered the chase in 14 inches and I’m so excited!
I’m your complexion ordered the cappuccino and regret it. Next time I’ll order the honey lace instead. Had to buy L’Oréal root spray in blonde to lighten the lace.
Their wigs are really great I got one 2 months ago. But it seems like they removed the Honey Lace from their website. I wanted to buy another one so I am sad and hope it will come back soon 😢.
I have probably spent 5,000 on hair on this last year and I couldn’t agree more when aimed Toward white woman irs more money and they don’t last!!! I just want a natural hair line 😩😔
wow the hairline looks like yours it's actually really insane I ordered the april wig and I want another already when I did not receive April yet lol but thanks for this amazing review we have a close look to the hairline without any filter
I just want to warn everyone. I purchased the Chase wig, and just from reading the comments on here I got worried about the lace color even though all the pictures online are of transparently’s. I contacted hair Vivi for my wig was shipped. What they tell me is that the chase wig is Indian hair which it says nowhere on the site and that the automatic color is cappuccino for the lace. Therefore they are charging me $200 extra because they say what I want will be Brazilian hair because they do not have the Indian hair in transparent lace. I did not even know it was Indian hair. I look at the Brazilian wigs and I don’t know which they are but I assume the other ones that say high-quality on them they are not $200 more so they’re charging me $650 for an 18 inch Chase wig which I don’t have. I told them that if somebody orders honey as their scalp color, they want a transparent lace wig because no one who has a honey colored scalp would want cappuccino lace. I’m getting very angry and I really don’t know what to do. Has this happened to anybody else? I can’t the whole I can’t return it thing that has anybody else had issues with getting charged $200 extra when your wig hasn’t even shipped yet? Nowhere on their site does it say cappuccino base nor does it say Indian or Brazilian hair anywhere. It’s taken me a couple years to be able to buy the way that I want like a price point that I want and I’m feeling really just broken by this. I don’t leave the house because of the state am I nonexistent hair so I don’t even know what to say. I could see an extra 50 or something but 200?!?
Ok i am going to give a bit of just constructive criticism because it is your first wig review. Think about why you watch wig reviews and what you want to see/hear. Your experience with different companies and getting ripped off is awful and happens to a lot of people: it’s good to tell people about it. But that is its own video. Also, the whole time you’re talking until maybe 20 min in, we don’t even know you are wearing the wig. You show us the wig that was too dark for you but you don’t put it on your head to show people what the unit looks like. Also, your hair-loss journey and decision to shave your head is a different video. It’s one i want to see because I’ve been thinking about doing the same. However, when I have a sale code that is expiring in 5 min and I’m just trying to see a review of the wig (which I didn’t even know was on your head already!) it is very frustrating and confusing. Again, I’m just trying to help. I really hope you don’t become offended and instead see how you have more content than you realize!

I was getting kind of panicky, but I did buy Chase and this is all of my wig money and I have so much scalp showing I hate to be in public - I never am without a hat or hoodie - and I’ve been trying to find something that looks natural for 3 or 4 years in my budget. She hasn’t been shipped yet - I’m so anxious from some of the reviews, esp. the reply below mine that says that they did not give her transparent lace. On their site, they have this “innovation” section where they show all their changes through time and it shows new HD lace beginning in 2022 against a light someone’s hand compared to their old lace and it’s definitely transparent. I didn’t even think for a second the lace wouldn’t be, esp. with the honey color. Anyway, I was just mainly trying to point out that you had a few videos worth of content in that one so you could make even more. It’s important to know about all the stuff you talked about. I’ve been thinking of doing wig videos for a while but I haven’t had the guts. So don’t take what i have to say too seriously. The only videos I have on here are one of my cats and one where I can’t stop hiccuping. Not exactly helpful.
I just ordered my wig and they didn’t give me anything for free, not even a wig cap. I’m so new to this and a cap would have been helpful. Wig is nice, idk if I’ll ever wear it because I’ve never worn a wig.
You usually shell out hundreds of dollars for things that you doubt you’ll wear because it is a new experience? “Well, i went ahead and bought this car but idk if I’ll use it seeing as how i never drove before “ see?
@@215juliusgirl wow okay, whats with the shade? I guess I should have said, I wish they gave me a wig cap. Yes, I did buy the wig to have fun experience. I am fortunate to be able to do that. I should have said I’m not brave enough to wear it out in the world and if I don’t figure it out, I won’t. But I’ll have fun styling and cutting it.

I’m having the worst time with Hair vivi right now and I’ve already paid way more money than I can afford to for scams (human hair that turned out to be a synthetic and lease that is too dark, which is now of course, happening again). So please don’t pay any attention - I apologize. I was totally in the wrong.

@@melissaheffner i canceled my wig because none of the wigs come with transparent or clear HD lace except for one blonde remi wig that specify says it in the description in parentheses (if you search “transparent” on their page, it will come up). They offered to make me one for $600 because they only have transparent with brazilian hair and all the wigs come with Indian hair and Brazilian is more expensive. I went back n forth with them on what’s app for a week but couldn’t come to an agreement. I assume they gave me the $ back, I have to ask my bf whose card i used but they said they would as i never was sent anything. I told them, straight up, they are losing money and making unhappy customers by not using plain (instead of cappuccino or mocha colored hd lace) on wigs ordered with honey scalp color and that it even said in their one of the pics they show on the individual wig pages “honey scalp honey lace” or something to that effect and that if someone orders a honey scalp, they need clear lace or it won’t look real. They pretty much said that they know, kinda, but they don’t have that right now. So if you are light skinned or white, unless you don’t mind being charged $200 more than the wig price or you are buying that one blonde wig, you’ll be disappointed as your hairline will have a dark line of demarcation on it. Yes, I know their videos and most of the wigs they send to reviewers feature clear lace, I pointed that out too, but that’s not what you get from them. Also, if you do pay the extra $200 for the transparent lace (i also told them HD lace is assumed to be transparent but they told me it’s very easy to dye which… lost in translation?) you cannot return it because it is considered a customized wig.
I’m same skin tone as you and the hairline is dark I also emailed and nothing they didn’t even reply . And yeah there wigs are good but like the hairline they need to fix that issues for lighter people
I am so happy I stumbled upon your videos....I have literally been on hairvivi's website every day for about a month, just trying to decide on which one I want to get!! My natural hair (or what's left of it) is a medium brown and the wigs I've been wearing are color #8/10...I've ordered a few "chestnut brown" wigs from Amazon and have returned them bc they were all too red! Well, now that I've seen Bella on you, I am sold!!!! We have very similar coloring and Bella looks AMAZING on you, so I'm hopeful!! Thanks for the tip about contacting them about the transparent lace bc I just noticed that Bella's description now says it's the transparent lace, but it also says it's Cappachino or Mocha, but then when you choose which color you want, it appears that the lace color would be Honey, so I'll confirm with them, just to be sure!! If the wig I’m about to order from them is just in honey cappuccino and mocha lace then would you recommend ordering one of those shades and if yes which one ? (Honey is the lightest) Or do you think that it has to be transparent lace ? Sadly they only have one or two blonde wigs that has transparent lace option
Hey if you have light skin I would order the HD transparent lace with the honey fake scalp. as I was told it’s the honey fake scalp and HD transparent lace that go together mocha and honey is not the name of the lace it’s the fake scalp they put inside if you were going to order the honey than I would match it with the HD “transparent “ lace instead of the light brown Hd lace that goes with the cappuccino fake scalp

Hi! I love how this unit suits you! My experience with this company is the opposite. Just like you, I needed a transparent lace, so like a month ago, I emailed them to ask for a wig with transparent lace (because all of them have brown lace except the Vivian one) and they said “no, we don’t do customizations. What you see is what you get”. They didn’t offer anything to me. In my experience, the customer service is VERY POOR. It seems that HAIRVIVI only gives “good service” to youtubers or public people. For the rest of the mortals, is another story. Good for you, BAD FOR HAIRVIVI.
Oh wow- interesting. You said you emailed them. I have the number for WhatsApp and the lady that has been helping me all along is very very nice and she is doing the customization. If you would like I can put the phone number on here and let her know this happen for you if you would like?
Thinking their email might be different people. The lady in the text has been nothing but helpful to me and the other people that I know that bought wigs. Someone I recommended to on a wig group said she got to customize 150 density. Let me know and I can give you the WhatsApp number I’ve been texting
I’ve had to message them also I was worried about the Etta I purchased I got all my questions answered and they were extremely nice and helpful. Have you tried to message them on WhatsApp?? I got a reply back the same night about 9/10pm EST and they were great. Try messaging them on there, and explain what happened and hopefully you get a different response this time. They did tell me they do make custom orders for the “transparent HD lace “ but then we can’t return it. But my Etta was described as just HD lace not transparent and I have to say I was very impressed with it, it looks great and I’m very fair (Casper 👻 )tone status lol 😂 maybe they didn’t have the custom order option at that time maybe 🤔I know they did have a holiday and were very backed up. You are a natural Morgan! Please do world a justice and keep on making videos. It is very helpful to normalise wig wearing especially amongst white women where it is still a lot of taboo around it. Can I ask if your new wig will be a custom order? I don’t remember seeing any wigs with 130% density. Thank you for posting this. I have never seen a Caucasian woman wear these pieces. I love your wig, but it is much thicker than the synthetics wear. Do people know you wear wigs? I am old enough to be your mom, but I am around women your age. I am not sure how they would react if I showed up in something so different than what I typically wear. At work, I just told everyone because it felt weird to have stare at my hairline and others complement the style and density. I hope your peers and family are supportive. You look beautiful and you are helping normalize wig wearing.
Aww thank you so much for your kind words. Yes the new wig I will have to custom order In 130 density. You have to do this by texting the WhatsApp number or emailing them. They don’t offer it on the site. And I’ve seen some reviews from Caucasian women! The one I know of is how I found out about the company because I follow her alopecia stuff on social media and her wig reviews. I tell people sometimes that I wear them when I feel like it or I can make conversation with someone. A lot of people don’t even know. They probably would think you just dyed your hair or added hair extensions. There are a lot of bad wig companies out there so be very careful who you choose from. I’m so glad to of found this company because their wigs look so realistic! And aw im 27! :)

So this is very nice to hear. Because of you I would also like to buy this wig but I have 2 questions. When I look up the Bella wig I see Lace color Cappuccino / Mocha, and not the color honey, how did you do this? And you can choose between 2 hair styles, Look 1 and Look 2, which one did you choose? I send them the text that I wanted te lightest lace but they send me this back: Yes, you can order a honey color lace ,it will be made with cappuccino (light brown) lace +honey(transparent) fake scalp ,which is the lightest color we have for this unit

Thanks for sharing your story. I am Caucasian, olive skinned, and can wear African American wigs. The challenging part is the density. I cannot do super thick wigs. I am petite, with bad hair underneath my wigs. I have small measurements, but my small face has a super low hairline. I have to wear average size. Do you find hairvivi wigs to be overwhelming?
Hey!! They are not that thick I don’t think. The one I’m selling isn’t thick at all! My father is olive skinned and my mother is fair and so I have a mix of both- wish I was only olive lol. And thank you for watching 🙏
