Almost got a whole car here. I know that someone has bought all the original Morris Mini presses in the UK, and that you can purchase a a genuine roller for $20k aud. Be amazing if someone could do this in Australia, especially now that the country no longer has a car that we can really call our own 😢
Could someone help identify a model car ,42 seconds in a Camaro reg 454 pro is reversing next to a grouse lil 4 door maybe Japanese or Euro ,it has a sunvisor and just parked ,i love it i wonder could anyone tell me year and make model ,much appreciated
Excellent demonstration of both the SU1280 and the Moonwalk. I work for PPG Automotive Refinish based in Strongsville Ohio in the States. I am also on the Moonwalk support team as well. Great work, great team!
Lower inner front and rear wheel tub pieces where the wheel tub meets the outer lower quarter panel and side body past the door on a Hardtop. Also maybe a part parcel shelf panel to repair the back edge where the tabs seem to rust away due to water build up on the outer side of the rear screen rubber.
@@louiseb1511 normal speakers it all sounds fine, on a headset/earphones Howard's voice is low and music is high on the right channel the left channel is fine. its something i noticed as i always use a headset when listiening to audio.
@@AstillDesign first time there was a sound problem with your videos, not trying to be picky it was very noticable for me. This video is great like all the other videos that you upload. 👍
How about rebuilding my XC Fairmont have a donor for parts need heavy panel beating or can you give me a recommendation for around Adelaide area thanks
Look up diverse transport fabrications in Mount Gambier (limestone coast/south east). My brother is shop manager there, and is a spray painter/panel beater of 30 plus years. Has worked on quite a few xy's xb's xc's and they do a pretty good job. Not cheap, but good ain't cheap! Might be easier than a line up waiting at an Adelaide shop?
Thanks Howard for your knowledge and expertise once again. Not sure if I would be game to practise on my car! do you have another spare GT I could have a go at? Bill Mc
Thanks for showing us this technique. I might have to give it a try. I’m guessing it’s easier to do this than remove those stripes to respray the bonnet.
Great video, I try to explain this process to my customers all the time as they think it can be achieved in a day. I also did a video of wax v coatings for the same reason you mentioned.
Thanks Howard, looking to do this to my family car this spring, lots of great tips. As far as ceramic coatings go, the only way to get them off is to polish it off and the only way to really know if it has been removed is by water behaviour. When the water sheets or beads, coating is still there, when it sits, your back to paint. Love your work.
the attention to detail on the smallest of sections is what makes all your builds on a level above most. this van when its finished will probably be at show car level, always good watching what you do and how you work around the factory imperfections to make them better,
Thanks for sharing your technique - based on your great tutorial I cant wait for the weekend to work on my daily (provided the weather in Melbourne is reasonable for winter).
Thanks mate. I got alot out of this. Mainly i need more tools and to go through more stages before waxing. Can you please explain to me what the water metho mix is.
