Whenever i have to fish ext cams or any wire to the attic like u did. I tape a small loop of string on the end of my fish stick. Plus i add extra sticks hoping the stick will make it to a easier spot to grab it. Or i put a hook on a different stick to grab the loop & use it to pull the fish stick to me so i dont have to crawl in insulation towards the slanted roof. And throw those harbor freight sticks out after using them. U will get awful splinters from those sticks.

Well I mean if you have to change out the line set it's going to kind of be a chore. Just make sure you use some zip ties at the end so that no no humidity can enter in. I've never heard of pinhole leaks in the middle of line sets here in LA. Do you think it depends on whether you live in an extremely humid climate?
