I grew up on stuff like this, and episode 6 was really taxing my ability to handle absurd anime BS The reason ep6 is so chaotic but has recurring throughlines is because they took a bunch of nokotan manga “4komas” (extremely short comics that capture a single skit into 4 panels on one page, sometimes referencing prior 4koma pages) and SMASHED them all together in one episode. I grew up on an anime/manga called Azumanga Daioh and it was a 4koma, every episode of Azumanga was like ep6 of Nokotan
"he dosn't looks that old" will get me everytime lol. he probebly 2nd or 3rd oldest character from here to season 5 or so... and baam saved yiwha before with the parasyte :)
When the guy at the vending machine got Akane confused with Kana, remember that hair colors in anime are mostly meant to be a reflection of a character's personality, not their outward appearance. Generally it's assumed that Japanese characters all have typical Japanese black hair.
@@CloudyCrow No, I don't think so. In their case, I think their hair is blonde to remind us that, while they look a lot like Ai, there are some parts of their appearance they owe to someone who wasn't Ai, their father. I'm not entirely sure if blonde could also represent beauty or a certain etherealness, but I think it's possible, too.
The real rivalry was akane and aqua for their oshi kana lmao i can not wait for next week! Also big shoutout to the director this episode was all around amazing!
Answering your question, i agree that Kana was fed up with a lot of stuff at that age already. She was overwhelmed with a lot of dark stuff about the dark side of the industry. That said, when you said "we still don't know about Kana's side of the story tho"....just clarifying, nothing justifies how she treated Akane. I can't imagine anything that anyone can say that makes Akane one little bit guilty there. I understand people suffer....but this doesn't change the fact that Akane herself had nothing to do with Kana's life, so to shove her away like that was just.....yeah LOL IN THAT INTERACTION, Kana was 100% in the wrong.
Even if nothing justifies the way Kana treated Akane there, she was just a kid. And as Aqua said in the last season, kids are dumb and make mistakes all the time.
@@whatever4141 And even akane in this episode revealed that she was mature enough to realize what was going on with kana. There was no grudge there in the slightest, just pity and sympathy. Holding a child accountable for the things they say out of an emotional outburst makes no sense.
That dude who spoke to Akane thinking it was Kana doesn't have any idea what he just started 😂 btw, i think at this point most people are more invested in Akane and Kana's characters more than the plot itself LOL
@@pudinkeviar4151 I just do not like this type or heroes - so I rather find intresting others. Aqua with this edgy, vengeful one dimensional thinking with lack of social skill aren't my favorites charakters in this show. If he do the best show from all actors it will be shame.
💡Today's Question of the Day💡 "Why do you think Kana lashed out towards Akane when they were kids?" Feel free to leave your thoughts in a reply under this post!
Kana was fed up with her whole situation, she was losing jobs, her notoriety wasn't spreading but regressing instead...she's forced to pick up jobs she doesn't enjoy doing all for the sake of making the adults happy (her mother in particular), making money and avoid being forgotten. Akane arrives and is a blank sheet, she's filled with hope and love for the industry..Kana can't help but feel pain from seeing that, because that is how she was at the beginning. Kana hates to see Akane imitating her because she despises herself...she doesn't know where to direct that frustration and takes it out on Akane despite her not having any fault in it. The VA for child Kana was amazing, you can tell she's literally crying.
Honestly it was never a secret she was always a real pest Kana when she was little, but for the reason I just think she didn't like the fact that a girl like Akane naive (so who knew nothing about the world of entertainment), comes to lecture her when she knows nothing and also if we follow the chronology, Kana has lived a lot of bad things for a child ... But we'll have to see what she thinks... (I'm critical of her, but she's my favorite character))

2:49 In the original telling before a certain man named Ovid who based on how he rewrote myths disliked the godly authority shown in the, most myths that Ovid rewrote make the gods act more impulsive and cruel than their older depictions. It’s his version of Arachne and Medusas myths that are most famous each depicting Athena as a wrathful and cruel goddess. In his versions of the myths Medusa was punished by Athena after getting raped by Poseidon, in Arachne’s myth she was about to kill herself after getting beaten in a competition with Athena so Athena saved her and her skill at weaving by turning her into a spider, however in Ovids version Athena was jealous Arachne was so skilled at weaving so she punished her.
It's crazy that yihwa was basically trying to square up with Jinsung Ha, an 8000+ years old high ranker who could blow her to bits by flicking his pinky😂
Omg yesss, alao remmeber that Rankers are called so bcs they are the strongest of whom has already climbed the tower, some of them also responsible for regulars Exams, so a man who can just ki// every ranker he meets is definitly sth !! So yeah let me tell you THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND himself is here yalll !! Trust me next episode will be one of the BEST ever!!!
Bro literally said he is one of the most powerful entities in d tower and no reaction ??? Bro ok said ohh this guy looks like d real deal and that’s it Disappointing reaction tho 😩.
Right after that I reacted when he said he's taken out countless Rankers! 😂Reason I didn't say anything when he said he was "one of the most powerful entities" was because we haven't seen him in action yet so I have no idea if he's ACTUALLY one of the strongest or if he's just hyping himself up and overexaggerating 😂 Robdevil was also flexing his strength talking about how strong he was too and he got outclassed during the test and absolutely bodied by Horyang right after. If I learned anything from this show, it's that actions speak a hell of a lot louder than words.
@@Theshadow-bc2lb I mean he looks awesome and I can't wait to see him and Bam throw down next episode! I can't even imagine how this is going to end because I doubt Bam is strong enough to kill him (especially this early into the series) but Bam's the MC so he can't die here either lol. Next week can't come soon enough man
@@nabinoorshahil2715 Administrators are not ranked, since it would be impossible to rank them, regulars can't even comprehend their power, and since the regulars are in charge of ranking, it's impossible. They also do not interfere with the Tower most of the time. Only one instance of them interfering is known, without spoiling, we know how that went.
@@Theshadow-bc2lb SPOILER WARNING He is actually 2nd. First place is held by an Axis, entire Tower is as insignificant as bacteria to him. And he is not in the Tower. Rank two is not in the Tower anymore either. Those two are leagues above all the others. Zahard doesn't even come close to Enryu in power, as Zahard doesn't have enough power to kill Administrators. Enryu killed one without much struggle, not only the Administrator, he obliterated the entire floor and left around enough of his shinsu to actually create life that can see future in form of Red Witches. And we know that ranking is not based strictly on power only, but takes into account influence as well. He might very well be as strong as Zahard. And as an irregular, he can kill him as well. He might also be weaker than Hon, but has influence points from being a co-leader of Wolhaiksong (That might also be the reason why Baek Ryun is higher in the ranking than some Family Heads despite not being an irregular or having any known links with them). But at this point in the story, based strictly on ranking, he is the strongest individual that is active in the Tower.
One thing to note Ha Jisung is a high tanker who are on a whole other level from rankers They are Only 1000 high rankers in d tower and they have rankings based on power and their influence
@@CloudyCrow note that bam and d others were not even e rank regulars till they passed this test They are still D all the way to A rank regulars who are usually stronger than the rank below and all of this is weaker than rankers
Yeah that makes sense. It feels like he still has a super long way to go until he can actually make it to the King. Those administrators sound like they're at the top of the Food Chain
cloudycrow "did she called him gramps? he's not that old at all!" me: 😂😂 Karaka was mentioned twice before this episode. Yes he is fug reminder from the friend list of baam: hatz - samurai. shibisu - tracksuit. hoh - the one who suicided. loure - the sleeping dude. serena - nvm her she quit climbing in the 2nd floor
💡Today's Question of the Day💡 "Who would you say was your favorite character from Season 1?" Feel free to leave your thoughts in a reply under this post!
25:27 You love to see it! lol 34:41 Glad you do, its so fun! Fan fact: the original FGO S7:ADFB game script is written by non other then Kinoko Nasu (co-founder of Type-Moon and creator of Fate and other Nasuverse works) himself.
2:49 The original version of the storys depicted Medusa as a monster from birth, alongside her immortal sisters, but later writers say she began as a beautiful maiden but was turned into a monster by Athena. Ovid's Metamorphoses is one if not the earliest records of that version. They are going with the newer and better know story in Fate.
Exactly, Quetzalcoatl and Kukulkan is basically the same homie but with different interpretations. There are servants that also goes with this logic like Siegfried and Sigurd in Fate, which is basically the same person but with different origin, religion, story and identity in the game.
