Follow me on facebook all the orginal media is posted. Also consider this was one of my first attempts at making a video we now have over 200. Sound is always difficult on the beach and KiteTv is always striving to give you more. Maybe I can do a post interview with Hunter 😎🤘
Such an elusive trick, thank you for sharing how you actually learned this and how long it took. Check out North Beach in Salvo/Avon for another amazing spot to fly in OBX.
I had the pleasure of flying with Dodd when he put on his first school in Pennsylvania right before the Washington session. Learned so much and what an amazing dude! He is so cool down to earth and has skills for days.
The sand dunes are such an amazing place to fly with the right brothers Memorial close by. so cool to see this featured in your videos. Maybe I will see you there this year.
Oh how I would’ve loved to be there to complain to him in person about the poor release of this product! As a Prism buyer from KHK exclusively, I only bought Prism kites until they pulled the stupid social media stunt with the synthesis release. It was only then I started looking at Skydog, Freilien, and other manufactures of quality kites. Heard similar stories from others and all of us would’ve never looked around if we could have simply purchased it when it first came out versus having to win it in a bullshit contest So stupid.
This was my first experience back into kiting and had not followed the history of prism kites so it was definitely lucky I won. They have definitely got a place in my bag and now have collected and flown many of the older models no longer made
Also go and read the history of this kite and why mark decided to release this kite. Only after a huge response did they make a production model for the public The limited edition are all Mylar band sewn in Seattle and signed by the team that built them I’m very fortunate to have have one you can fly mine when we meet
I thank you for sharing and just know I really enjoy your channel. Your story only proves my point. Prism used the “contest” to get their new kite into the hands of social media influencers and charge double for the kite. WTF. Why Alienate your core user base for cheap advertising?
very much appreciate the support. At first look I thought the same as you and that I was selected and it was not by chance I won After months of tracking down most of the synthesis from the contest and meeting up with as many as possible I found a mix of flyers among the group. Some like myself were new to sport kites but an overwhelming majority were lifelong enthusiasts of prism kite and eager to pay the $600 price tag The biggest commonality amongst the group was the ability to respond to the email within 48 hours of the drawing and pay the large price tag I was personally contacted several times by contestant winners who couldn’t afford the kite but had been selected and wanted to the kite to go a good home I personally struggled with coming up with the money and only found the email in my junk folder after another prism fanatic contacted me suggesting I check my email or I would have missed the opportunity All in all my synthesis has been flown by any wanting to fly it. I’ve offered to send it to flyers across the country willing to do a KitesnKids event.
I really do like watching your videos! As I am an alone kite flier in the UK!😁 & Yes, I should fly more often!🥰 I also let freinds & new people fly my older kites when the conditions are good for them to learn from the little knowledge that I have!😁😂 I can do a few tricks after many years!😁 But I can't nail a "Cascade" Yet!😭 Please give "Remington" a lovely stroke from me!🥰❤ Paul 😁
Looks awesome, it’s so difficult to get hold of in Europe at the moment, and import duties and our VAT tax system puts so much on the cost if you’re just ordering one.
Hey man was awesome meeting you today. Opened my eyes to a wild world of Kiting. If anyone’s in the South Carolina area closer to Myrtle Beach, hit this guy up for all your Kiting needs and questions. Thanks again 🤘🏻🤘🏻
