Who would have thought this was hidden behind the virtuosity of the piano composition? George was like the pulse of the band. The melodic insight is common to so many Beatles tracks. An anthology of isolated George tracks could be released to put him where he belongs on the Rushmore of the greatest alongside Duane Allman, Clapton and Hendrix.

Just wish the Peter Jackson video didn't seem to show such an uncomfortable obsession with George.

This song and performance IS the Beatles as they were. Great song. First song they wrote together. Dual vocals. Live. Smiles all around. Great solo. Like they were all back in the Cavern in 1962, if only for a few minutes. I don't think any other video shows how much fun they could have with each other. Might be their greatest live performance with this song. "Come on baby, don't be cold as ice..."

Ça décortique dans tout les sens. Gemme Shelter . Intro Charlie Watts parfait batterie 🔋🔋 Maracas express .Bill Hyman partie basse bien joué . On 🤞🤞 accroche vite notre jeunesse seventeen.

For some reason they never play the harmonica part during live concerts.

so the Bass is not the actual track that Paul plays. While most of the notes are correct there are a lot of timing differences to the actual recording. It seems all these videos of deconstructing or isolating the Bass part have differences to the actual recording.

Clem Burke is an underrated drummer. Really enjoy listening to his work, especially on a song like this, where the drum tracks were all done separately part by part.

This is their high water mark...absolutely briliant. What more can I say about Ms. Claytons vocals that hasnt already been said. You cannot replicate that kind of spontaneous magic. I've heard this song hundreds of times for over 45 years and that point where her voice cracks still cuts striaght to the bone

I’ve been trying to replicate George’s technique on this song for years now . This song taught me a valuable lesson really helped me graduate from amateur to intermediate. Along with johns powerful rhythm keeping it solid throughout the whole gig is wild .what talented lads they were / still are ! Beatles on top forever!
